Reddit no longer working properly on Firefox 55?

I don't know if this has happened to any other Firefox/Reddit users, but in the last 24 hours, a number of features on the site have stopped working for me, namely:

- clicking the drop-down menu for "My Subreddits" does nothing; the list of subreddits that I'm subscribed to doesn't appear.

- similarly, clicking the button to expand a post within the page rather than open it in another tab (text post, video/image/GIF) also does nothing. Constantly clicking it over and over just makes Firefox act like I'm double-clicking to select something. This is also true for trying to save/edit/share/delete a post.

- speaking of opening stuff in separate tabs: It just doesn't do that anymore. I've even double-checked my preferences within Reddit and it does say to open links in a new window/tab, but it just loads it within the same one despite that.

For the record, I've tested the site out in another browser (both Safari and Chrome) on the offchance that idunno, someone at Reddit changed something about the site and screwed up the whole thing (Reddit works fine/as expected in both Safari and Chrome), as well as use other sites that have similar features (because while I'm no computer wizard I'm guessing it's a JavaScript thing?) and there was no problems there so I can only assume it's a Reddit-specific issue (and on the subject of JavaScript: it is enabled in my about:config settings - I've not even touched that page).

(also, I've cross-posted this to the /r/Firefox subbreddit over at Reddit:
