Font not rendered only for one particular webiste on one particular Mac

This problem only occurs for one website and on one Mac. When I use another Mac with same version of Firefox (44.0.2) the problem doesn't occur when browsing this website. Also, when I start Firefox in Safe Mode on this particular Mac the problem disappears. So it seems the problem is only with this Mac and maybe with some addon that might be causing the problem. But, how come it's only for one particular website then? On other websites Google fonts render fine.

Problem: The website is using Google font Roboto but Times is rendered instead. In Preferences > Content > Fonts & Colors >Advanced, I have set: Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above: I've tried disabling "Use hardware acceleration" but to no avail.

Please would you have any clue what is wrong, please?
