Hello!

All my shortcuts are messed up!

The tab key doesn't work. I can't move from one element to other with this key. If i press F6 it doesn't move to the address bar. Ctrl+C doesn't work, Ctrl+V neither works.

I've try to reinstall it with apt-get install --reinstall

Normally my passwords are remembered fine, but for my most frequently used work email the feature does not work in Firefox 3.5.3; I carefully followed instructions on https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/username+and+password+not+remembered but this gives the impression that if your password is still not remembered then it must be a site which is configured not to remember it; this is not true as it works fine for me on other computers using same Firefox browser.

Incidentally, some may doubt if I saw the "Remember password" bar at top the first time I access this site, and blame user error, however, I took particular note of this when I first logged on to site on this machine and no such option appeared.

Problem about bookmarks is solved messily. Problem with importing profile folder from my memory stick (E drive) isn 't. I ,your instructions. so it seems I am not in Firefox 3.6 but 3.5 Firefox and I use the Run in the start menu to locate the file. Then I check Firefox security and there is no additional passwords imported from that folder.

I need to load a GET url that si very long. On other browsers, I can load the url. In firefox 3.6, no.
There is an addons or a plugin so I can extend this limit? If yes, is possible to load automatically this addons when loading a certain page? thanks

The url is sometingh like this (this is correctly loaded, but it could be longer)

All my add ons in Firefox are shown as "disabled for my protection" The page advises me to restart Firefox, on doing this Firefox fails to start. I can start it manually, but the add ons stay as disabled, although they are working it seems.

I work for a hospital that uses a scheduling system that we can access from home called "Clarvia" or Care Value System. When I try to login on my computer it tells me that I am using an unsupported system format and states that it only supports Firefox 1 and 2. I am currently using 3.5 and when I try to bypass this screen, I get stuck in a continual loop when it asks for my security information. Is there a way to bypass this or run an earlier format when needed?

I have a web site that my users upload mp4 videos to my website. I use html 5 and use the video tags type movie/mp4. The only browser that has worked without any add ins, plug ins or extensions is safari 4.x and safari 5.x with quicktime. What version of firefox will support playing mp4 videos without any add ins or extensions?

I always get the alert: script stopped responding. Besides scripts are carried out slower and slower with Firefox.

After switching off the CHAT in my gmail it works better.

I dont know what FF is doing but IE seems to have less problems with script hanging nowadays. Maybe its just that FF is cluttered up.

I deleted the History, Forms and the cache already. But there seem to be many data that cant be cleared like all those rarely visited URLs that are always recommended in the location bar. That stuff keeps accumulating without any handle to get it out of the system.

Firefox can't load adf.ly and the following message appears:

The connection has timed out. The server at adf.ly is taking too long to respond.

I looked at the file that stores the form history and its 30MB in size. A lot is not used any more or captured without reason, while other entries are still needed. Because I still need some entries I cant just delete the entire form history. Other entries are there where I think: how did get in there. I dont want that.

Since the txt in the file is senselessly encoded I cant just edit it with my Notepad. And for what such a huge file (30Mb) anyway?

I just deleted the Browsing history to get rid of all the very old suggestions the URL makes. It doesnt help.

The URL bar shows automatically even pages I havent visited for a year. I think there is a lot of old stuff accumulating I want to get rid of. So, how to delete the browsing history so that also that naggy URL bar starts with a clear slate?

I talked with the computer teck at the bank and she assures me that the problem is not at their end and suggest that I contact Firefox to see why they are blocking this site.
