my old laptop fried and i have pulled out the C: drive from it and plugged it into my new desktop computer (the location of the old drive is now "J:") and want to move th… (meer info)

my old laptop fried and i have pulled out the C: drive from it and plugged it into my new desktop computer (the location of the old drive is now "J:") and want to move the FF bookmarks from that old profile/drive to my new desktop C: drive. how do i accomplish this? my old computer was running FF 3.5 windows 7 ultimate, my new computer is running FF 3.6 and is running windows 7 home premium

Why can I no longer lock my toolbars? Your earlier answer is insufficient.

Wouldn't it be cool if a person could "unbookmark this page" or tab the same way you bookmarks one?... thereby eliminating the cumbersome necessity of cleaning up the boo… (meer info)

Wouldn't it be cool if a person could "unbookmark this page" or tab the same way you bookmarks one?... thereby eliminating the cumbersome necessity of cleaning up the bookmarks folder of unwanted bookmarks. After all, who really does that anyway. Usually you only know if the bookmark is now unwanted after you have opened the page. It would make life easier to be able to unbookmark it from the page your viewing rather than going back into the bookmarks list, finding it and deleting it. Just a thought. You can use the idea, I won't charge any royalties, haha.

How to stop the creation of Downloads directory in My Documents

There was a thread on this topic, which, AFAICT, was erroneously marked "solved." We all know how to change the default download setting, via tools --> options --> general -->. The problem is, regardless of where one designates one's downloads, a Downloads folder is still created in My Documents every time we start up Firefox. I don't want this folder to be created. How can I stop it?
