The issue's been going on since yesterday, the app will freeze up like it's about to crash, but then it'll just pop back up. It does it repeatedly and nothing I've done has fixed it, from restarting my computer to closing the browser. Its only gotten worse and I haven't been able to find any relevant information on how to fix this.

Hello, How do I permit Calibre to use IndexedDB storage in Firefox? I am running Firefox 87.0 on Windows 10. Both are fully updated as of the time of this writing (26 March 2021). In Calibre 5.13.0, I enable "Sharing over the net," then I "Start server," and then I "Test server." Calibre opens a tab in Firefox but returns the following error message: "Error: Could not initialize database You must allow calibre to use IndexedDB storage in your browser to read books" I cannot figure out how to enable IndexedDB storage for Firefox. Firefox doesn't show sent messages in Gmail. Neither individual sent messages nor conversations that include sent messages. The message lists display fine, but when I try to open a message / conversation it only shows a blank page. Currently the version of Firefox on this computer is 83.0 (64-bit), although the problem occurs since the most recent versions. It only happens with Gmail. Yahoo! and AIM work fine. Doesn't happen in Chrome or Edge

What I would like to do is edit my bookmarks and passwords on my current device then be able to delete the Firefox online storage and sync the current live Firefox to a new online Firefox storage.

This has been going for a couple of days.

I have tried starting in safe mode, didn't help.

I have tried disabling JavaScript, didn't help.

Two "main sites" affected, Feedly and Gmail. Feedly had this problem but it disappeared after a while. Now Gmail is having problems. I can move around and read mails but not respond to them.

Other sites affected "seems" to have in common that they are blog-type, perhaps like WordPress or similar.

I have a Windows 10 computer with the same browser setup and there have been no problems there so far.

The version is 86.0.1 (64-bit).

I'm not technically advanced so please be gentle with me.

HI I am a trainer and web developper and in all trainings and as a designer I am using the Firefox Inspector. This morning, suddenly the menu under EXTRAS is not showing anymore the "INSPECTOR". Don't know what has changed! I installed Firefox again, no change! I know, that I can still activate the inspector via OPTION COMMAND C but this is not very intuitive for my trainings! See screenshot: What happened? Any ideas?

When I click to add a bookmark, I'm not given a choice as to where it should go, and all go to one of many bookmarks. I uninstalled my virus scan program, but that didn't help. Any answers?

Firefox has a "list all tabs" button, which looks like a "v" in the tabs bar, next to the plus. It works great but when I maximize the window (not F11 full screen, but Windows OS Maximize Window), this button disappears. Seems like a bug; I can't think why you would want that button to be removed when the window is maximized.

Hey there! I was just reading an article that said you should only download Firefox from the official website. I downloaded Firefox a few months ago, so I'm honestly not sure where I downloaded it from. Is there any way for me to tell if I am using a "real" Firefox?

I'm trying to import my saved logins and passwords from Chrome to Firefox. When to try to do this I get prompted to create a Primary Password. Whenever I try to do this, I get a message saying, "Unable to set Primary Password." I also can't cancel out of this or switch to another tab--I have to ctrl-alt-del and close Firefox to get out of it. I also can't create a Primary Password through the options menu. Anytime I try to set a primary password it just says "Unable to change Primary Password."

I had to clear History and Cookies on my desktop to get an online purchase done. I was able to add my passwords for every site bar one (afl.com.au). It just won't accept my password despite changing it. Works fine in Brave and Chrome. Also fine on my laptop (didn't clear anything there). Any help sincerely appreciated.

I am not able to get onto my secure message center in my febblue.org (Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance) page. I can log onto the home page, but the landing page for the secure message center hangs. The feature does work fine in other browsers such as Chrome. Perhaps a bug in Firefox 86 and 87? That is when it became an issue.

I have multiple bookmarks for some sites. When I try to delete one of the duplicates, 'all' the copies disappear. How do I delete the duplicates while keeping one copy?

I want to try the new Proton UI for Firefox. I followed all these steps: 1. Go to "about:config". 2. Search for "proton" and set the "browser.proton.enabled" from false to true. 3. Restart Firefox.

But that didn't work. Is the Proton UI no longer supported in Windows 7? Or some other problem...
