Webinar is stuck in browser; if I close it with Task Manager, it pops up again when Firefox is opened.

I am actually helping a coworker who is limited in his computer ability. He had participated in a webinar last week and after he exited, the webinar appeared to remain stuck in the browser. Whenever he opens Mozilla Firefox, an Adobe document appears and then the Webinar screen pops back up. I have tried to close it down through task manager, but it pops back up and the message appears that an application is stilll open in the browser.
