desktop shortcuts to web pages dont load in FF4

Sometimes I will drag a URL from the address bar to my desktop to save a shortcut I want to revisit within the next hour or day, instead of making a bookmark.

Since upgrading to FF4, those desktop shortcuts to web pages will not load when I double-click to open them, nor when I drag those shortcuts into a FF4 browser window.

The only way they work is if I go to the menu and OPEN FILE and navigate to the file and open it.

Help!?
