how can I put an inbox by Gmail into the dock on my Mac

My Mac is running on OX El Capitan, 10.11.5

I've come across articles demonstrating how to create a gmail icon for your dock in Safari and Chrome, but they always say "not yet" for Firefox. I'm hoping that information is out-of-date and that there is a way to do it in Firefox. Thank you.
