Firefox Sync issues

I'm having MAJOR problems with Firefox Sync. I rearranged the books on the Firefox browser on my laptop, including moving the Mobile Bookmarks into the others. The changes should have shown on my phone. But nothing changed.

I don't know what's wrong!! I've tried disconnecting both accounts and restarting them but no only did it NOT fix the issue with the bookmarks, but now I can't change the options for what I want synced on my phone AND my phone won't even update what's synced!! This SUCKS!!

Is there anyway to fix this? My laptop uses Windows 8.1 and both my PC and my Galaxy Note 3 smartphone use Version 39 of Firefox.

Hi LEAPS2HI, Thank you for your question. Since you moved the bookmarks out of the Mobile Bookmarks folder, they will then also show up in the Desktop bookmarks folder. However since they intend not to have duplicates I think it may display in both folders.

  1. Is the mobile bookmarks folder still there on the Desktop?
  2. Is the Desktop Bookmarks still on the Mobile device?

Bookmark organization is one of the top requested features for sync. I did a couple of experiments and when you add a bookmark on the Mobile device it will be added to that folder. However from the Desktop you can move them in and out of that folder. I moved one from mobile to Bookmarks Menu and it moved to that folder on the Mobile device.

First make sure that auto-sync is on and you tried to make one change then Click Tools > Sync Now.
