I have firefox updates set to auto. But I want them to load updates when im not using the browser. What currently happens is I open the browser only to get shanghaid by the update process. I dont want that. when I open the browser I want to go straight to what i am doing. I dont want to have to sit there and wait while the browser updates. If it did updates once a month or less it wouldnt be such an issue but the damn browser is updating every few days or even every day and it always wants to do it when I want to do my own work. IS there not a way for the browser to update while im asleep at 3 am? When Im not wanting to use it. Its so irritating. It causes me to not bother with updates. I dont want to comply. When IM given a choice for any updating I set updates to install in the early hours when Im not inconvenienced by it. How can I do this with firefox?

Firefox sometimes continuously adds tabs for the same site I am using. Every time I X out of one, another one pops up. This multiplies alarmingly fast. I have Windows 10.

Hi I am a longtime user of your browser. I have version 124.0.2(64 bit) installed on three devices. First thing I do on opening it is to click on "about", which normally updates the browser, before I do any browsing. In the last three weeks, however, it has not updated on any of the three devices, rather, it says "Failed to check for updates". I have tried the workarounds suggested at your Help center, and nothing has worked. What gives, may I ask? Thank you

Instagram page won't load. Doesn't load in Edge either. The proxy setting is off. It was loading yesterday, then today it won't. No malware detected by Mcafee or Spyhunter. My account is working fine from my phone.

I was unable to sign in Qobuz from yesterday. I have been using Firefox ver 115 to play streaming music from Qobuz on my Windows 8.1 PC as its sound quality is better than other browsers. Yesterday, I found nothing happened after clicked the SIGN IN button on Qobuz's login page, however I had no problem using Google Chorme to login.

So I uninstalled/re-installed Firefox, and tried different older/newer versions, still didn't work.

I tried another PC running Windows 10, with Firefox ver 124.0.2, got the problem.

Please fix the problem ASAP, Firefox team. Thanks.

Its purer sound is the main reason I use firefox, instead of other browsers.

I cannot open the login page on my hosts website. My host is https://ventraip.com.au/ based in Melbourne Australia. That means I cannot access the Cpanel so I cannot upload data on my web site. Other people can open that login page on their computers buy I can't on mine. Where is the problem?

My Firefox Browser was just upgraded. It seems address bar searches all go through Yahoo.com. Is this by design? Not sure I like the search results...

No longer able to copy or paste text on Firefox with Windows 10. Copy and Paste are greyed out in the right click menu after selecting text. Using CTRL-C, V or P does nothing at all. Still works fine in other browsers. What has Firefox broken again this time?

When I try to use needed tools on websites, Mozilla is blocking the page from opening. USPS will not allow me to track a package. When I enter the tracking number, the page just sits on white and the search just spins

Firefox goes to eBay Portugal instead of eBay USA. In order to complete a specific task, I had to use Edge browser to get there. Why does it do that? How do I fix it?

Whenever i encounter a reCAPTCHA, and click "i am not a robot", the wheel keeps spinning and spinning and spinning. I never get to the screen where i have to verify images or a check mark. Just started happening randomly.

I've spent hours searching. Tried every single solution-new profile, erased firefox and reinstalled, troubleshoot mode, firefox refresh, turned tracking protection off, changed network settings, reset wifi adapter, you name it i tried it. I need to get past reCAPTCHA's for work. Getting so frustrated. Please help!

One important point-the only other browser i have on my laptop is Microsoft edge and it' works perfectly on Edge!

In the last couple of days I've been unable to login to my virginmedia accounts using firefox, all other browers work fine, I can enter details no trouble but as soon as I press the blue button on their page nothing happens, cleared cookies and data for virgin but didnt help.

Strange issues 125.0.3 Installed and I am getting scrambled text and some icons. When I check logs from my server the text is unreadable, if I try Edge or another browser, all is well. I included a sample log file.

I am also experiencing strange icons in google maps (see image). Those are supposed to be the road number markers, this also works correctly in Edge and other browsers.
