Hi having a problem with viewing my web site images on any products where the images lay out DO NOT display correctly , and place themselves one below the other as opposed to side by side.

This means that we have to scroll for a long while to be able to get to the descriptions

We have tried to many things, but no luck

Can someone provide some advise

Thank you

I have four browsers on my Linux box: Chrome, Chromium, Thorium, and Firefox.

Firefox is painfully slow using Google Earth, all the others are fast with Google Earth.

This is fairly recent behavior (last month or so).

As far as I can tell, FF is configured to allow Web Assembly (WASM) to be used for rendering images, etc. Since Google Earth is written in WASM, I don't have a clue why it is so horribly slow.

scrolling/sliding the image around on the screen is slow and jumpy. Displaying images attached to a waypoint is extremely slow: It takes 5-10 seconds to switch from one image to the next.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

1) Youtube stalls out. Seems to be preventing or blocking the front ad from running, ... but wait long enough, Youtube video will play. This happens on all my computers, Win 7 and Win 10. Problem been going on the last 30 days.

2) In Win 10, Firefox browser never shuts down when I close it. Must go into Task Manager & do a "End Process" to kill it. I do make sure Microsoft Edge Browser is Disable. It wants to run all the time too. Thanks for your efforts. Been using Firefox since 2002.  :)

I am on ESR on my older Mac running OS10.12.16, in order to operate Quicken 2007. However I also use a newer Mac, running OS 14.5. When I transferred my data to the newer Mac, Firefox stayed at the ESR version. Can i run a newer version of Firefox on one mac and still operate the older Mac on the ESR version? If so, how so?

This setting got reset on me last night. Using 127.0.2.

So, I set it to custom, add in a URL, close the settings, re-open the settings and see it is set.

I close my non-pinned tabs and then close the browser.

Upon opening the browser, I am greeted with an empty tab and the Setting has reverted to "Blank Page".

I am using Linux Mint with Firefox 127.0.2 (64-Bit)

In Preferences Applications, setting

 CSV-Dokument      to    open with firefox

opens edless new firefox Tabs - so I had to kill firefox. (setting CSV-Dokument to open with OpenOffice works fine. But this is not what I want.)

In Preferences Applications, I found further CSV types: application/csv-Typ CSV Document (application/text) CSV Document (octet/stream) CSV Document (application/x-download) Which applications should I use for them ?

I found the file "mimeTypes.rdf". However, I am not familiar with the syntax.

In an earlier version I set it up so that opening a tab opened about:blank and the title was blank via a simple Greasemonkey script:

// ==UserScript== // @name blank // @grant none // @include about:blank // ==/UserScript==

document.title = "\u2800";

Now not only did Firefox restrict what could be set on opening a blank tab, (which required me to install an add-on), the Greasemonkey script doesn't work on about:blank anymore.

Hi!

I've been having consistent trouble getting firefox to save my passwords. I'm signed in, have all the password-managing options enabled, and I import my passwords from chrome (which I've wanted to stop using) but my saved passwords tab is always empty. The next time I use firefox and I'm logged out, it's all wiped clean. When I try to synchronize my settings and passwords after importing again, nothing happens when I click Synchronize.

I've restarted the browser many times, opened it in Troubleshoot Mode (here I was able to import, save my passwords and synchronize just fine), went on to disable all my extensions one by one, themes, and hardware acceleration, but when I opened the browser normally, the problem persisted. I don't know what to do at this point!

I'd appreciate some help, thank you.

Firefox 127+ Downloaded Filenames Appended With Underscores In Some Circumstances

Problem: When exporting or downloading content from the GUI in the digital forensics tool Velociraptor, underscores are appended to the beginning and end of filenames. File is otherwise downloaded correctly, but removal of underscores necessary if original filename is desired. One hypothesis is that perhaps for security reasons there were changes made in Firefox 127 for how character escaping is performed.

Tested Operating Systems: Ubuntu 24.04, Windows 11 22H2, Windows 11 24H2, macOS Sonoma (14.5) Affected Firefox version(s): Confirmed 127.0, 127.0.1, 127.0.2 Tested Firefox versions which do not reproduce the behavior: 126.x, 125.x > Testing Microsoft Edge, Chromium, Google Chrome on Windows, macOS, Linux: files download with correct name as expected. Testing performed with clean installations on clean VMs with no add-ons enabled.

To reproduce: Download the latest release of Velociraptor from Github (at the time of this writing, 0.72.3) for preferred platform / operating system. Run Velociraptor using the gui switch, e.g. "$sudo velociraptor-v0.72.3-windows-amd64 gui" or "$ velociraptor-v0.72.3-windows-amd64.exe gui" Navigate to Server Artifacts and click the "+" icon at the top Search for Server.Utils.CreateMSI - select and press Launch Select the newly-created flow, click "Uploaded Files" tab and click vfs_path to download the file or, click the Notebook tab and click Download JSON or Download CSV buttons to download JSON or CSV respectively, underscores are appended to beginning and end of filenames.

I know I can set Firefox to offline mode by pressing Alt on my keyboard and choosing "Work Offline" from the file menu. However, the browser doesn't actually seem to show me cached versions of sites after I do this. Instead, every site — even sites I visited literal moments before switching to Offline mode — shows me the same "Firefox is currently in offline mode and can’t browse the Web" message, and invites me to "Try Again" to go online. But I don't want to go online. I want to see the version of the site that, I hope, at least if Firefox behaves as I'd expect it to be have, is already saved in my computer's cache. How can I achieve this?
