Canonical transformed Ubuntu installation process from apt to snap. Unfortunately my FF 100 now is not able to load libetpksc11 module with message: module cannot be loaded.

I've been using firefox for so long, but now I'm having an issues where I'm not able to download anything. Whenever I click on either download or upload buttons, no window popups. I tried Brave browser with same, but it crashes. This problem started on Firefox. Helps would be appreciated. (Sorry due to same issue I can't upload screenshot/video sample of the problem).

I don't want the tabs + search bar to show when the mouse reaches the top of the screen while in full-screen mode, I have tried "userChrome.css" solution provided in this link "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1092572", but it didn't work for me, I would appreciate any help, thank you.

Since I've upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04 "Firefox" randomly started closing it's self without any crash report what so ever.

I've read some article on Ubuntu forums but I couldn't find any helpful information (Or they didn't work for me)

Please anyone help! I've been using Firefox all the time and has never crashed until the upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04

I updated the operative system on my laptop but, when I opened Firefox and signed into my profile, it didn't import my old bookmarks, only the browsing history. Passwords and other data are all there, only the bookmarks are gone.

Is there a way to get them back?

In the past few days Firefox has stopped showing html pages on my other partitions. Has Firefox changed the way they are doing things or is this a new bug?

The screenshot below shows a web page I regularly use that I keep snippets and brief programming notes. It and all links on all partitions except the root drive are no-longer accessible.

I have used Firefox for over 10 years and never had this happen.

Any ideas what may have happened?

Hello, I am using Firefox 100 on Arch Linux (5.17.6-arch1-1) with GNOME 42.1, and after recent updates i doesn't play any videos, it is buffering them, plays a frame and pauses.

1. I reinstalled firefox. 2. I cleaned cache && cookies. 3. I removed extensions.

Firefox only uses custom minimize/maximize buttons when I select show toolbar. When not selected, it seems to use the windows 10 window decoration. I am using arch linux with kde plasma and firefox 100. Is there any way for firefox to use the system wide minimize/maximize buttons

Hello, I was trying to fix this issue on my browser but I was not able to do it. The OS is Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS 64-bit. Currently, I'm using Firefox version 99.0a1 but I had the same issue on version 97. Also, I have this issue on only one of my PCs. As I said in the subject: - The browser freezes the whole PC and I have to force reboot it. (I already disabled the hardware acceleration) - the recent download item open button does not trigger the opening of the folder. - If I try to download a file, the browser ask me where to save it. But if I try to download another one the browser shows me the directory with path /run/usr/1000/... I tried to delete places.sqlite but I received the same result. ... Hi! I have set this option pdfjs.externalLinkTarget to 2, but despite that setup, all PDFs are open in the same tab of the PDF download link, that's a problem for me because, for instance, my home banking account losses the session if anything external is loaded, so when I click Firefox back arrow, the home banking session expires.

How can I set to open PDFs in Firefox in new tab?

I have set up 11 custom devices that max the min and max sizes of bootstrap grid system (xs-min-360w, xs-max-575, etc) to aid me with checking my website on various screen sizes. Is there anyway to export this list or better still to synch them with my Firefox account so I don't lose these settings?

I am using Firefox Developer Edition (101.0b6 (64-bit)) on Ubuntu 20.04.

Recently i realized firefox is not saving cache where it used to. that happens some versions ago to now.

By a sudden necessity, i need to access images stored in cache by facebook.

however, firefox has moved its cache, and have no idea where it stores it now.

the second point, is, if there is any way of "surf" cache, im not sure but i wonder, the cache is not what used to be, a collection of files related to what you surfed in the web, videos, htmls, pictures, etc.

I seems the cache now works in a different way, making solid archives composed of many images-videos..., instead of separate files for every image-video.

So, in a brief, 2 things:

- where is cache now - how can i access files in it, (images videos ..)

I am having trouble getting individual autofill entries in Firefox on Linux Mint deleted. There are a few I have in some lists for a couple different websites that have some spelling mistakes. I have a few hundred of them that are regularly used and I really do not want to clear them all and start over.

Highlighting them and hitting the delete key is not working, and using shift-delete (that works of Mac) is also not working. I have been searching and cannot seem to find an answer to why this is not working for my with Linux. Can anyone provide a solution or point me in the right direction?

Since the newest release, firefox doesn't refresh the images in the website. Every time need to use "CTRL-F5" to refresh the images and the content. It seems don't update the cache.
