Suddenly, Firefox won't load Google Calendar. I see the template, but the items on the calendar won't load. I know it's not the calendar itself because it loads fine in Chrome and on all my android devices. I made sure all the add-ons were taken off. I refreshed. I cleared the cache. Erased history. Nothing worked.
I finally gave up, backed up all my bookmarks, and deleted Firefox. I downloaded it fresh and installed it again. Same problem! The calendar won't load. I found others complaining, but no one had a solution.
Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but a friend told me this was part of a "browser war" and Firefox would no longer support a variety of sites and apps. Is that true? Or do you have a solution.

Basically since about 15-30 days ago my firefox has been constantly crashing when I open new tab or even simply a link to a website... the more 'power consuming' process is the more likely it will crash. Simply browsing stuff has nearly 0 likelihood of crashing. The frequency varies - something like youtube or steam game browsing will crash with extremely high frequency and will work fine after reopened. Some text based websites will barely ever crash the firefox.
What happens is either instant crash(most frequently) or infinite 'not responding' with the solution being task manager end process.
Either way it happens - reopening browser reopens all tabs that were open.
What I tried: 1) Cleared cache 2) Disabled all extensions. 3) Tried checking about:crashes - 0 reports there in last 30 days... meaning whenever I crash no actual crash report comes in.
I am using chrome at the same time and it has 0 crashing issues under similar circumstances.

In last couple of the most recent versions of both Firefox and Firefox Enterprise, Access files with ACCDB extensions will not open from a link on an html page. Basically, it will show an error in firefox. It can be saved to the local desktop if we set the option to do so, but we would like to be able to open it only. The file is on a network. We've also tried opening the file in several other browsers (chrome, edge, etc.) and get the same results in all of them except IE. That remains the only browser we can open an Access file in with a link. Microsoft Word and Excel files appear to still be opening fine.

Hello everyone,
Since a few days I have a problem with the layout Firefox gives me displaying “youtube.com”. The layout and a lot of functions (like play, full screen etc.) have changed or disappeared. The changes don’t apply in Firefox’s private Mode (and neither in Google Chrome nor on Firefox of my girlfriend’s laptop). I deactivated every single Addon and searched on google - unfortunately, I could not find any solution. Does somebody have an idea?
I have added two pictures where you can see the comparison between normal and private mode.
I have the latest version for Firefox and Adobe Shockwave Flash.
Thanks a lot in advance and enjoy your day, Simon

Having an issue with youtube as of late on firefox. The ability to see "history" list, "watch later" list, or utilizing the save function do not work because I am constantly having to login. For some reason the ability to see lists or to utilize any functions on the youtube website do not work properly because I am unable to remain logged in. Is anyone else having difficulty with youtube?

Firefox (84.0.2 x64) has recently become a memory hog to the point where my system (W7) slows to a point where it is unusable. I do not wish to spend an entire day (or more) troubleshooting in the hope that I can make go away a problem that didn't exist 1 month ago do so how can I roll back to an earlier release (say the one running in december last year) which did not have any of these problems?
I attach two screen prints from a laptop (W7 12GBRam) running one instance of firefox with maybe 20 open tabs Windows Task Mgr which shows Firefox with 9 processes using around 5GB with one process using 2GB Firefox task mgr which shows 25 tabs using a total of around 0.5GB
Clearly the info in the firefox taskmgr is rubbish - or rather not reporting the same thing!

When Facebook updated their system a few months ago, running it on firefox with windows 10 on a pc crashes mozilla. It happens if you are logged into FB for some length of time (say an hour). I have no extensions operating just plain firefox. I turned on task manager inside firefox to watch what happened over time along with windows task manager. Within a half hour, FB is using high energy impact and just about all available memory in the system and filled the cache as well. Eventually it just freezes firefox and I have to kill the program go back and clear the cache and often do a complete refresh of firefox

I use Firefox as my business email and all was working fine until I upgraded Firefox using my Safari browser and created another login profile based on my personal email. That's when the error 'a copy is already open' began. To solve it, I did the above and had two profiles a 'default' and a 'default-release'. I believe I deleted the 'default', and the problem remained. Then I tried a reinstall, and I suppose that's the 'default-release-1' profile, but I really have no idea. The problem for me is that I need to import bookmarks, the business email account linked to Firefox and Host Gator, and all my LinkedIn, MailerLite stuff. I do not want to lose all this and just do a clean reinstall. However, now because I can't open any version of Firefox, I have no way to access the business emails, etc, so I can't recover the Firefox account linked to this business email and get all this stuff back. And I don't know which of the above three profiles I need to delete to get it all working again. Please help!!!

I've been using pocket daily for a long time, and just recently the 'View List' feature (i.e. view the pocket website page with my saved links) stopped working in Firefox. That is accessed in the normal way using the Pocket icon in the address bar, or with the link: https://app.getpocket.com/ - they both go to the same address.
When that Pocket 'View List' page is accessed, it gives all indications of having loaded fine, but all that shows is a completely blank white page with the horizontal line and faintly greyer section at the top of the page, and absolutely nothing else.
Firefox version: 78.6.1esr
I'm pretty sure this was broken on a recent update (of Firefox). I'm also pretty sure many other things were broken in Firefox by recent updates - never had Firefox so damaged by an update before - things like on Amazon website pages (to pick something well known), product images randomly don't load (refreshing gets them to load), pages randomly display garbage (refreshing brings them back), etc, pages load fast but elements on page are not active (can't be clicked) for several seconds on complicated pages like an Amazon product page - never had this happen before recent Firefox update - I don't know if this is all related, but it feels like it is (and that Firefox has been broken in many ways only recently).
All these things, including viewing the pocket list, still work fine in Chrome.
Anyone have the post issue in Firefox? Or the other issues just recently? Is there a fix for this?
Thanks

Firefox prevents the typing (~) key from working on the typing.com website, and unfortunately I can't go through the lessons on the website because of this problem.
I tested in other browsers if the problem persisted and it appears that only firefox exhibits this behavior.
I also tested starting the browser by the way that disables the extensions and I continue the key without working.
Please, does anyone know any solution to this problem? I loved the Firefox browser and I don't want to leave it just because of that.
