When I moved my data from my old Windows 7 to my new Windows 11 computer, I used a Mozilla account to upload and save my bookmarks. I then transferred my data using a different method.

I would now like to delete my data from this (Mozilla) site but can't find it. Please show me how to clear all my bookmarks, passwords (!!!), everything from this site.

response to jonzn4SUSE, because on my desk top, it won't install, because my computer chip is too old, when I get to the point of clicking on finish, when clicking on finish, it disappears, supposedly this chip is a better chip than the one I need to install it, but it's older than the one which is the minimum needed to do the install, even took it to the repair shop, I had read that sometimes if an older version of waterfox is on a computer it won't install, by the time I got it back from the shop everything with waterfox was gone, including bookmarks etc., none it was saved, some of the things I could import from my other browsers, one thing I don't like about waterfox is there isn't any way to export those things to other browsers, even when going to firefox or any other browsers, when clicking on import from other browsers, waterfox isn't on the list, also on my laptop, has an intel chip, maybe older than the one on desk top, when 1st installed it, it worked, the next time I tried to use it it wouldn't open, don't use lap top very often, usually only when desk top is in the shop on desk top, even tried to install it in safe mode, after I got it back from the repair shop, is when I found out about the chip being too old Operating System       Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU       AMD Phenom II X4 955          Deneb 45nm Technology RAM       16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28) Motherboard       Gigabyte Technology Co. Themes do not stay locked since several updates back. It is ridiculous that every time you open the browser you need to go to settings and get 'dark theme' back on, when it is the only theme many of us with visual problems can use. MANY people have complained about this (read your own reviews). FIX IT! It's doubtless a five minute job to put this back the way it was.

Firefox keeps crashing randomly, sometimes at startup, and sometimes just in the middle of a session. Sometimes just one tab will crash, and other times it'll be the entire browser. I ran it in troubleshoot mode and it still crashed, so it's not caused by an extension or anything. It never used to do this before and I don't understand what's causing this issue.

I'm experiencing a problem when I visit certain websites, like 'https://mui.com/x/react-data-grid/'. Every time I try to access this site, the page starts an infinite reloading loop, preventing me from using the website normally.

Hello, My Antivirus sofware (GData Internet security) showed the attached message (in German) two times today. It says in English something like:

It was tried to access an infected archive

Virus: Trojan.GenericKD.71195125 (Engine A) File: 0B3C6E11DBBC160A3AAFC100C8BAB878F5EE0C Directory: C:\Users\re-ge\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firef Process: firefox.exe

The line ending with "Firef" may indicate that lines are truncated.

If you see on the attached image, on the far right side is a LastPass red logo (red box, 3 white dots). I have been using this setup for so long I have no idea how it got there. Can you direct me to where that might be in the settings?

I am trying to re-create the setting on another computer.

How to do this for my paid newspaper subscriptions ask me to log in every week: they say "You can avoid doing that by saving your login information on your browser" (I'm on Imac)

Firefox often display messages at the lower right corners - only from selected sites.

It drives my crazy - because I have to click on each and ervy one.

How can I select the sites which are displayed or can I shut them off all together ?!?

I just downloaded Firefox on my new Windows 11 computer and I'm having this problem where I try to open it and it immediately closes. It just flashes on the screen, I tried downloading it off of the Mozilla site and the Microsoft store and both times I've been having this issue. It doesn't show up in task manager when trying to open it, my computer is updated, and I'm connected to Wi-Fi. I have a video of the issue but it wont let me put videos here.

Hi, I am using Linux Zorin and have updated to a later OS but cannot reinstall my stored files because, "/home/garry/.mozilla/firefox/0czvkt76.default-release/lock". Which has confused me, I have used a Deja Dup backup which uses Duplicity files as per the Zorin programme. Duplicate files are stored in a WD ext hard drive. What can I do to recover my files pls? FIrefox view I think has a lot of potential. Especially with the release of Ai. It could be a fantastic home page type setup.

Currently though, I would like to use it as a tab manager.

Is there a way to access it via keyboard? If not, can it please receive a keybinding? It seems like a very very small thing to add.

I would like to use my browser in a different way.

Goodd day from UK I run firefox esr 115.9.1 and find the the F5 refresh key does NOT refresh the images. The same applies when using the "reload" icon in the menu.

Reading other posts, nothing seems to apply here.

There are NO add-ons at all and everything is cleared on close. The text DOES seem to change.

As a web developer checking updates this is extremely annoying as only hope is keep closing the browser (to clear everything) and restart - the loads new images etc.

I use several versions of Firefox (2, 20, 56) to ensure compatability with olf browsers and it seems to be only those over 100 with this issue.

Does anyone know if this is a "feature" or a"bug" and is there any simple (!) way around the issue?

Every once in awhile i get a second Firefox icon pinned to my taskbar and also a second listing for firefox in my programs list. If i try and delete the extra version there is only one listed in the control panel. Has anyone else seen this? I am running Windows 10 Pro.

I am using Firefox with synchronisation mainly on 2 PCs and 1 iPhone (there are old iPhone and 1 raspberry Pi connected, but not used). I have noticed that at least for a few months Firefox password library on iPhone was missing some password I needed, but I could always look them up on either PC without problem. Usually i tried to fix this by manualy synchronizing Firefox on iPhone in settings, it always showed that it is synchronized. Today I have discovered that i have only 19 passwords saved on my PC - same as on iPhone, but yesterday there were much more (probably all, but I can not be certain). Oldest one was created on 30. 10. 2023. All other are gone, I have managed to restore some old passwords (cca 370) from october 2021. I have disconnected internet and WiFi, placed old logins.json and key4.db in current profile, opened firefox and exported them. Once internet is restored, all passwords are deleted again, only those 19 recently created stay.

I did not delete any passwords or logins or anything on any device and did not delete any file or firefox profile. Why did it delete passwords without asking? And how can I prevent this from repeating? Because this is unusable password manager that randomly decides to purge login data from time to time.
