Hi,

Occasionally when downloading files on Firefox, they'll freeze completely (often at the very end.) There is no way to pause or cancel the downloads, except to restart Firefox.

When I attempt to restart Firefox, it closes the browser window. However, when I try to reopen it, I get an error message stating that Firefox is running but not responding. The 'Close Firefox' option does nothing, except make the box pop back up a moment later.

I can't kill the Firefox process in Task Manager or Process Explorer, because it says access is denied. I can't kill it using taskkill in command prompt because it says there is no running instance of the task.

The ONLY thing that seems to help is completely restarting the computer, which is getting frustrating to do several times a day.

I can confirm Firefox is up-to-date. Any tips are appreciated, thank you!

This may seem to be a senseless problem, but I don't see well and it's rather important to me. There is the search/address bar at the top of the screen. There is also the somewhat larger one down towards the middle of the screen. This is the one I use a lot. Recently, when I start typing in that lower box, I am immediately jumped to the upper one. This is something new. I cannot find a setting to prevent this from happening. (I have tried switching browsers - someone suggested that might help, but not so.) I would very much appreciate any ideas. Thank you.

Firefox sucks. I legit can not open any new windows. I have two windows currently open. I click my icon it typically opens a new browser window. But it won't open anything. But the two I already have open. When I click it. My mouse pointer turns to the little loading symbol. But nothing loads.

This is making my job extremely difficult. Guess I'll have to use Chrome or an actual browser that does what it is suppose to. As I don't imagine I'll receive much help here.

-Firefox to cheap to spring for live chat support-

Also, what's the deal with your passwords? Is that really a commonly used password? Maybe that being a common password should tell you guys something? And screw you guys for forcing me to sign up. Just for the hope of support. As it's not guaranteed.

Using firefox version 102.3.0esr (64-bit) on openSUSE Leap. Since a couple of weeks the opening of external links by clicking a link from any application or when running firefox <url> is taking about 5 seconds when the browser is already open. This was always instantly and still is on same setup on laptop machine, both are updated to the most recent OS packages.

I've tried safe-mode, new profile, copied profile from the laptop, searched online for references but so far I can't pinpoint what the issue seems to be.

Any kind of information as to resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

So for my main gmail I have 2 step for obvious security reasons, but I want it to trust my PC so that I don't have to pull out my phone every time I try to access it. No matter how many times I click the option to trust this PC it always ask' for the 2 step, and I don't see the PC on the trusted list in my gmail settings. I have already added "mail.google.com" to the exceptions part of the cookie and site data settings, even "account.google.com" but it just doesn't seem to work. What is the obvious thing that I am missing?
