How to restore cookies which have been deleted by mistake. I have accidently cleared all cookies from the cache. however, some of the important information from one of the softwares (Zerodha) was stored in the cache as cookies. Now the entire data is lost. How can it be recovered

Hello, I have the fallowing issue with Firefox and the sound icon on taskbar in Windows 10 22h2, when Firefox is open and I click on the sound icon on the taskbar in Windows 10 22h2 the sound icon does not open, when Firefox is closed the issue is gone.

Any help to fix this issue would be great.

I have display problems with Beta 127 (b4) on a Windows ARM PC (Adreno 685 GPU). FF itself and websites. Version 126 and later runs fine. These errors do not occur when hardware acceleration is switched off!

I asked about pinning files (html) or sites to the Firefox taskbar and got this entry form you system:

I knew that answer was total BS as I already had 3 items in the Firefox taskbar So I did a quick test and all that is needed is to drop a file into the Firefox taskbar is to drag & drop it there.

I tried 1.) A file short cut from the desktop, 2.) A site from another FF open tab, 3.) a file from W: File manager, L: Dolphin and all were successful.

So I'm guessing this is such an old post, saying "not" possible, so should be deleted!

Hi. I can't access my add-ons that I installed. When I click on the extensions icon it doesn't open that little menu like it does for other people, but it takes me to 'about:addons' in a new tab. I also want to pin my addons to my toolbar which is also not working. Please help me out

Hello, as of recently Firefox got the new tool to highlight text in the native PDF viewer, and I really enjoyed using it. As of today, I had not updated or changed versions, but I suddenly lost access to the highlight tool option. Refreshing the page didn't work, downloading a new PDF and opening it didn't work, restarting Firefox didn't work, and I haven't seen anybody else have this issue.

Firefox Version> Firefox Developer Edition 125.0 Beta 8 (20240403091602) OS> Windows 11

I don't know if this is just an issue due to it being in beta, or it being on beta 7 but not 8, but either way any solution is appreciated!

The news reader (powered by Technavia) for the Tucson Daily Star starts OK but continually slows down and eventually Firefox hangs and is non responsive. It happens in different places. The same news reader works OK in Edge or Chrome. Any idea how to trouble shoot this?

I can no longer log into my social security account using Firefox, but the login does work on edge. When I try login on Firefox, I get the following error message:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

The initial web site is https://www.ssa.gov/. From there I hit "Sign in", and get to https://secure.ssa.gov/RIL/SiView.action using Edge, but get just the error message using Firefox.

There is another route, which is through https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/. Hitting either account or sign in on that page will work on Edge, but gives the same error message on Firefox.

I prefer using Firefox as my browser (have done so for years), but recently I have noticed inability to open some hints provided on my family trees on Ancestry.com

When I called Ancestry, they suggested I use a different browser (: - but when I did, I was able to open the hints Firefox won't open. What is the problem? I was also told that another Ancestry user had called in previously with the same problem. PLEASE fix this!

If it helps, I use Windows on an HP Envy laptop (have for some time - wasn't a problem before a month or so ago). Will I hear back from anyone as to when this might be addressed/fixed?
