warum ist die obere zeile mit dem kreuz beim start nicht mehr da? Sieh die markierung im Bild! immer wenn ich firefox starte mus ich es erst nochmal minimieren und dann wieder öffnen. was soll der scheiss

und Könntet ihr eure hilfe auch mal auf deutsch machen dann könnte mann wenigstens was lesen ode alles extra übersetzen zu müssen

I am running Windows 10 on a desktop pc. I have Firefox for Windows 148.0. I am editing a website on Joomla 5.4.3. To edit pages in Joomla, I use the TinyMCE editor. Since today, whenever I open a page in the editor, the editor keeps reloading constantly which renders the editing impossible. After I close the editor, the browser seems to lag for 5 to 10 seconds, before returning back to its normal, problem-free behaviour. This behaviour is only happening in the Firefox browser, not in others on the desktop.

I switched to my Macbook, which still had Firefox for iOS 147.0.4 running. There the above mentioned behaviour didn't occur. But when I updated Firefox for iOS to 148.0 the behaviour did start to occur.

So, I guess it is a bug in version 148.0? How can this problem be fixed?

Actually, I need to add sinhala language to the Firfox transalator. There isn't sinhalese to translate any kind of website or other article etc. So if i can add sinhala language to the firfox translator it can be verry helped full and usefull for me. So i kindly inform you to send me any meterial or technical information to fix that.

I strongly disagree with the proposed AI-centric direction for Firefox. I already disable any current AI features in this browser and disagree with them being there at all. I am firmly anti-AI in the form/use that is most prevalent. I don't want an AI chatbot or AI summaries. AI is not a replacement for human thought. It cannot perceive. It cannot understand. It cannot communicate. Even if it produces a convincing enough mimicry of those things to convince some people that it is capable of doing those things. It's like that IBM training slide from 1979 that says "A computer can never be held accountable, therefore a computer must never make a management decision." Firefox's blog entry about these proposed updates is full of nothing but glittering generalities, just buzz-phrases like "you're in control" and "a better browser" and "trusted companion." AI is not a trusted companion. AI is hyper-advanced autocorrect. And with AI's harshness on the environment (requires astronomical and unsustainable amounts of water) and on the browser itself (slows it down considerably and makes it more vulnerable to security breaches like prompt injection attacks), I just don't think "everybody else is doing AI" is a valid reason to override the main reason most Firefox users use it (because of its lack of AI features and focus on privacy). I'm a long-time user of Firefox and I have really enjoyed it, but one of the biggest issues I have had with it in the last few years is disabling all the AI garbage features that keep getting sneaked in. If AI use or AI-driven features become a substantial part of Firefox, I won't be using it anymore.

Hello- When I am on a website and click link I would expect and want a new Tab to open-- I want it to open it in a new Tab and leave the page I'm on alone so I can go back to the original page.

Instead, Firefox overwrites that page and the tab with the a new one, and I have to hit the back button to get back to that original page. And most often the back arrow button is grayed out and I can't get back at all.

In settings, I've tried checking the box for: 'Open links in tabs instead of new windows' but that doesn't do it. I've also tried checking the box, 'When you open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately,' and that doesn't do it either.

I know that a work-around is to hold down the Ctrl key while clicking a link, but I'd like to set it as a default so I don't have to do that. That's a pain and not a natural function when browsing. To be sure, I want to click on links and that creates a new Tab without Ctrl Keys.

all the sights I've used for years will not open and will not work I can't even use them any more they work fine in other browsers don't know what you did but it is almost unusable

yesterdays settings were upgraded. This firefox upgrade completely messed up my desktop computer -can not access many sites as before. Want to go back to the last upgrade

How do I revert back to the previous version of Firefox?

Youtube not working after most recent update, computer fans get stuck on, Firefox wont shut down, have to end task to get computer fans to shut off.

Whoever did the last update is working for the occult to destroy our computers and silence and isolate us.

Very often, Firefox asks at startup: “Should I open Firefox every time I restart my computer?” I don’t need this function, how can I remove this request forever?

There are only two buttons: 1. Yes, open Firefox 2. Not now :(

I reinstalled Windows and downloaded the browser again. I logged into my account, turned on synchronization, but none of the data was synced. I am absolutely sure that synchronization was enabled on my old browser. I tried turning it off and on again, but nothing helps. Please help me get my data back!
