Lighter fonts (from multiple families, and on multiple websites) are rendered so poorly they are barely legible.

I already tried disabled performance settings, and turning off ClearType in Windows (it barely had any effect)

How do we fix this?

On this site: https://www.orange.pl/twojekonto/zaloguj I can't force firefox to remember username (no problem with remembering password on next step). In older Firefox without WebEx there was addon which allowed to manipulate forms to prepare proper autocompletion data. This addon is not supported with WebEx anymore due to lack of proper functions. Instead Firefox Dev Team claims that mechanism built in current Firefox is enough for such tasks and mentioned addons are not needed. Seems it is wrong thinking.

I tried different approaches to save username for mentioned site but without success.

Hi, this site when trying to login keeps looping, it has only happened recently and I've cleared cookies and disabled all the addons for it, the site works, but when trying to login it loops https://www.nexusmods.com and says in the loop-

I can't for the life of me understand what is going on with my browser. Everytime I try to watch a video that I have purchased I get this error message:

"Firefox is installing components needed to play the audio or video on this page. Please try again later."

I have tried searching for a solution but no avail. I have disabled and re-enabled DRM, bit it was a no go. I tried re-downloading firefox, still had the same issue. I created a new profile, still won't work! I have been searching for solutions constantly and tried so many but none seem to work. Finally someone suggested that I check my extensions and App data and I saw a sign that said:

"widevine decryption module provided by google inc. will be installed shortly"

but it has been almost a day and it still hasn't been installed. In advanced preferences I looked up widevine and saw this:

Is the problem with my computer or internet?

Dear Sir I went to an organization on 21/03/2022 for assistant on an issue, in processing the matter I need to open my yahoo mail box for the relate documents within my mail. A lady who assistant me use her lap top computer to open my mail box - I enter my pass word, then a window camp up to asked if I want to save my pass word (with dark color) or not,(with gray color) I was in a stage of rush I just click on right top Conner 'x' she took her computer to other room ( in where I can not see ) I was too naive and don't know if all of my mails had been read by them? - It is my privacy. When I got home I was worried and at next day I changed my yahoo mail pass word. As my pass words are saved within Firefox when I want to open a site it is auto fill the pass word. 1: Is my pass word will saved in that lady's computer? 2: Although I have changed my yahoo mail pass word is it safe? Hi, when I log into my bank I give my account number and then a password. I have told firefox not to remember my password but it is remembering the bank account number which automatically pops up when I am on the banks log in page. How do I stop this? Also when I signed up for this firefox help it asked for an email address and all my email addresses poped up for me to chose from. I didn't like this either. Appreciate any help. If these features can't be turned off whats the last version I can use that won't do this? cheers Neil

I have 2 profiles in use. 1 for personal use with their respective bookmarks, passwords, and extensions, and I have no trouble syncing with this one. However; profile 2 that is for work use that has its respective bookmarks, passwords and extensions, has become a nightmare.

It happens that I have both profiles on the same computer and when trying to create an account in Firefox, the system asks me to enter the email registered in profile 1, with the warning that bookmarks, passwords and extensions will be mixed.

I mention that I have migrated from Google Chorme to Firefox for speed reasons and because I use windows 7 (I don't like later versions) Now well; in Google Chrome you could create as many sessions as were registered but in Firefox you can't.

Oh! I have been working fine with Firefox but suddenly an error occurs (it has happened to me 2 times in the last 2 months) in which the program closes and all the data of my profiles stored on the pc DISAPPEARS or is deleted (including cache), when I want to open them again:

firefox.exe -P

Then I have to give myself the task of synchronizing profile 1, but profile 2 I have to be importing from my previous Google account or importing a backup Bookmark.

The option to copy and paste the data from Firefox to replace it in the path (supposedly brings with it the data of everything):

C:\ProgramData\Mozilla-1de4eec8-1241-4177-a864-e594e8d1fb38\updates\308046B0AF4A39CB

with Firefox turned off it has not worked for me. Since when opening I see 2 profiles called Default "X" and Default "Z" without data.

This is a headache that if it happens to me, it happens to millions who have 2 or more profiles.

Why can't I sync a second profile? Why do you insist that there can only be one sync per device? Is there a solution for this?

Note: I have read all the tutorials out there and the situation remains the same. Synchronization with 2 or more profiles is never described.

On one web site (see attachments), my location is being detected as being outside USA while using firefox desktop browser, yet on the same computer, my location is being correctly detected as being inside USA.

You will see the asian words. When I change the pull dawn tab ("Saudi Arabia") to "USA", the asian lettering does not convert to English.

Not sure how to fix this.

Everytime I try to do a search in Firefox I get a Manuals Library page come up. Why is it doing this? I did a search not long ago for a user's manual for a product, and I guess I accidentally downloaded this Manuals Library. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. There is no shortcut on my desktop for it, I cannot find it anywhere in my downloaded programs in Uninstall or Change a Program in my Control Box. I DO NOT want this program! Help please!! I just upgraded firefox to v 113 64 bit with windows 7 ultimate. Now when I watch youtube in fullscreen there's a border around the screen. i don't use picture in picture and it isn't on yet the border won't go away no matter what I do. Please fix this or i will use another browser. i will include a screenshot from youtube in fullscreen mode look at it.

I am using DuckDuckGo with Firefox because I do not like auto suggestions filling up the search bar while I type. It's so annoying. I have ensured that Settings do not have auto complete in any way, but still they come. The only solution I can find on this website, which is Stop Auto Search in Firefox

A brand new ThinkPad P71 windows 7 sp1 FF 101 All other browsers I use work ok. On an older machine that I am trying to replace, FF 101 works ok. So it is something in the system settings, but I had no luck this far.

The web page, for my bank, won`t open. I have been using their web page, for a number of years. When I go to the web page, and try to login, all I get is a screen, with a circle, that keep circling, as if it were buffering, and never gets to the login page. Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome seem to work, but not Firefox. My bank is Security Bank Of Kansas City. https://secure.securitybankkc.com/login

It appears web sites can track my activity on their site. How do I make it so a given web site can't track me? Does Firefox have a setting that makes it more difficult to track me on a given web site? I've seen where a VPN, not sure what that is, can be of big help. How do I initiate a VPN and are there free VPN's? When I visit this particular site it states, "from your site login activity" and goes on from there what they want to do. How do I make it more difficult for a web site to be able to track my log in activity? Will a VPN solve this problem? Or, does Firefox have various accessories that can do the same thing? I know deleting cookies with this particular site does not solve the issue for me. Can someone help? Thank you.

In other browsers and on my phone the website opens properly.

I have been using Firefox for years with no problem on a 64 bit Windows 7 machine, i7 processor, 32 gigs of ram. Firefox is version 103 64 bit. I have Kaspersky Internet Security and Malwarebytes installed and have been using them with Firefox for years.

A few days ago Firefox just stopped loading any pages. If I go to a secure site (https) I get "secure connection failed". If I go to a non-secure site (http) I get "The connection was reset". Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome work on this machine with no problem. Oddly enough Mozilla Thunderbird also stopped working today. Only Mozilla products seem to be having problems.

Firefox works fine on other Windows 7 computers in my household.

I tried clearing the cache. I tried disabling extensions. I tried running it in Troubleshoot mode. I tried the "Refresh Firefox" option. I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox.

None of these worked. Even a clean virgin install will not load any pages. It seems to be something specific to this machine that's preventing Firefox from working. What can I do to get Firefox working again?

I have noticed for awhile now that when I load my Firefox homepage its keeps taking longer, certainly longer than it used to take. Also, when I load a You-tube video it takes about a minute for things to work properly. The video and audio are erratic and skipping and simply disjointed for about the first minute, but then after that period of time the You-tube video runs OK, both audio and video. Something seems to be causing those problems recently that I didn't have previously. The problem seems to just keep getting worse also. I would appreciate any input and suggestions that may help the problem. Thank you.
