FF 9 is locking up on web pages help!

After opening web page second click to move in page locks up and can't move beyond that point. Message reads: This is embarrassing, Firefox is having a problem:... Suggests that you close web page and or start new session. Attempts at starting new session fail! Re-booting computer brings you back to the same page. I am running Windows 7, with FF 9.01 and have had little problems with the program before.. Computer has been cleaned and is virus free FYI... Any suggestions????
