Instabilities When Scrolling Instagram

When I scroll down on Instagram I almost always get an instability where scrolling keeps jumping back up. I can go down using the scroll bar on the side but the instability is still there and I miss posts and things jump around a lot.

Is this a known issue? Are there any tips for getting smooth scrolling on Instagram>
