My homepage is a .php file stored in a directory on my personal website which has Directory Privacy. Every time I launch Firefox I am prompted to provide my credentials. These are saved in Firefox, but why am I always prompted for them? If I access the same page using Safari, Safari does not prompt for username & password but goes straight to the desired page. My site is on a Linux server & Directory Privacy is set through cPanel.
