I have had this problem on two separate midrange samsung phones now: after about an hour of browsing, firefox slows down considerably. Pages take a long time to load and tapping input registers erratically, sometimes i tap a link and after a few seconds a different link opens, as though the tap was registered from a different spot on the screen. This is happening even on a brand new phone, and after emptying the cache. I wish I could keep using this app because of privacy concerns but it is genuinely unusable for me now. This problem has cropped up in the past half a year

Firefox just used almost a GB by just opening it! I only typed a Google search, and the next moment my phone tells my I'm out of data!

Note that this is foreground data, not background data. I googled and found answers about media playing in the background, but I haven't watched anything recently, so no streaming link should be active. I installed Ublock origin so I hope that might help.

Attach is my Firefox data usage for the past week of barely using it, except for an occasional Google search.

I found that X (Twitter) videos don't autoplay although the corresponding setting is enabled in Firefox for Android.

When I finally decided to start organizing my hundreds of bookmarks, I began to experience a crash every 1-2 minutes. I'm opening, editing and moving bookmarks into different folders, which by itself shouldn't cause frequent crashes. My phone's specs shouldn't be an issue either since I have an s24 ultra. I'm grateful for any replies, and would like to thank you for your time.

I just opened firefox on my samsung galaxy note 8 and all of my tabs are gone. I have not seen the "restore previous sessions" option, nor are they in the "recently closed tabs" part of my history. Please help. Is there any way to restore the tabs?

Listening to audiobooks made me notice this problem, often whilst my phone is turned off and the audiobook is playing in the background on a tab on firefox the audio would just stop and i would find either that firefox was still open but unloaded all the tabs, or that it simply crashed. I thought this was a thing that solely happened when playing audio in the background but then i noticed that it is actually a general problem when firefox is kept open in the background. It doesnt happen after a set amount of time, sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes after like 10 minutes that it is kept in the background. How can i fix this? its very annoying.

So I got a new phone and I'm trying to sync it with the old Android but it's like it literally has nothing but the login name. I still have to go login all these websites and it won't boot all my tabs from the old phone I don't even want to try to buy anything find out that I have to do all the credit card stuff again. I do not have a desktop right now

From the image below, I asked a question and the results are there. I've tried this on my tablet as well, getting the exact sane results, no matter what I put in the search results.

However, I choose Google as the search engine (as you can see from the image below), while Firefox still being the main browser and I got results to the question below.

What is happening with your browser or duckduckgo search engine? In all my years of using these platforms, I've never had this issue. Yes, I'm Android user and haven't changed any devices. My setup is the sane on all my devices.

I'm using Firefox browser on my Android phone and when I visit a website zoom.earth the animation whether it be a wind a precipitation lags a lot. On the same phone, if i use Chrome, the animation plays out smooth. Why?

I started with Firefox on android, when i finally got a pc i decided to sync my data. This resulted in the loss of all but 1 of my passwords and Ive spent 5+hours trying to get them back. And i idk if i can. Why cant i just revert this or have instances to revert back to?

On my Android phone, the "close private tabs" notification keeps reappearing no matter how many times I tap it or swipe it away. Only way to get rid of it is by force stopping Firefox. Weird thing is that this issue doesn't repro 100% of the time either.

After the latest update to firefox on android, the Openweb discussion function is missing from at least 3 websites that work on other browsers.

Thedrive.com Twz.com and Newsweek.com

All the above use Openweb discussion function on their websites but firefox does not show them at all.

I checked using Samsung internet browser and the discussions are visible, unlike firefox.

I use ublock extension along with ghostery and privacy badger, but diisabling them or complete removal does not make the discussions visible.

I have deleted the firefox and reinstalled it after the update but the problem persists.

If I want to see the discussions on the thedrive.com or twz.com, I have to use the Samsung internet browser for that.

Could use a fix so I don't have to jump between two browsers.

there are often times when I go to websites, usually when I'm logging in or signing up for an account, where they have a pop-up window for me to enter in the information, which usually also includes a captcha, but for some reason I am unable to scroll up or down, and I'm unable to access a submit button as well, therefore unable to complete the process.

this is on my Kyocera e6920 AT&t version 6.103at with Android 10 and a updated version of Firefox.
