Firefox window position

When my computer sleeps, the position of the open Firefox window always shifts to the bottom left of my monitor screen. Why does it not remain where I position it? I constantly need to drag it back up to the top of my monitor. I have searched for help but cannot find anything applicable. I am using MacOS BigSur v11.6.4 on a Mac mini (M1, 2020). I keep Firefox up to date.
