Win10 professional in desktop Upgraded today 06/08/21 after much nagging.

I'm now unable to use the Google search engine box in the center of the page, it goes to the address bar -- font's too small. Besides, from what I've been able to gather, searches from the address bar may invite invasion.

I've done some research on similar questions, but the usual remedies, which suggest looking into Options and editing preferences, but my browser is now being controlled by "my organization" -- apparently Bitdefender Total Security, which is depriving me of access to the settings and preferences.
