I have a Blackview Tab16 (10" screen), which I bought last year; it was running Firefox quite happily until a couple of months ago. Now when I click on the icon, I get a sort of 'welcome' screen (with some message about a search widget?) for a fraction of a second, then FF closes and I get an error message saying 'Sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed.' The version of FF is 126.0. I was told to try clearing the cache, but there is nothing there to clear! The tablet is running Android 12 / DoKe OS V3.0.

I have an 8" Blackview tablet which - despite needing to be plugged in to run all the time! - opens & runs Firefox perfectly happily. It's my main browser on my MacBook as well, and will run on my iPhone.

I am using Samsung S23 with the latest One UI and Android 14. Samsung's built-in browser has a neat feature where you can open YouTube or Reddit links in the apps installed on the device instead of viewing them in the mobile version of the website in the browser. I assume that Firefox has the same functionality called "Open links in apps" in the settings, but I tried all the available options and neither YouTube or Reddit links are automatically opened in their respective apps, nor is there a button anywhere to force them to open in the apps. Am I doing or assuming something wrong, or is this a bug?

Out of nowhere, the browser stopped when I was browsing and the pages started showing slowness. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Firefox just used almost a GB by just opening it! I only typed a Google search, and the next moment my phone tells my I'm out of data!

Note that this is foreground data, not background data. I googled and found answers about media playing in the background, but I haven't watched anything recently, so no streaming link should be active. I installed Ublock origin so I hope that might help.

Attach is my Firefox data usage for the past week of barely using it, except for an occasional Google search.

I found that X (Twitter) videos don't autoplay although the corresponding setting is enabled in Firefox for Android.

When I finally decided to start organizing my hundreds of bookmarks, I began to experience a crash every 1-2 minutes. I'm opening, editing and moving bookmarks into different folders, which by itself shouldn't cause frequent crashes. My phone's specs shouldn't be an issue either since I have an s24 ultra. I'm grateful for any replies, and would like to thank you for your time.

I just opened firefox on my samsung galaxy note 8 and all of my tabs are gone. I have not seen the "restore previous sessions" option, nor are they in the "recently closed tabs" part of my history. Please help. Is there any way to restore the tabs?

Listening to audiobooks made me notice this problem, often whilst my phone is turned off and the audiobook is playing in the background on a tab on firefox the audio would just stop and i would find either that firefox was still open but unloaded all the tabs, or that it simply crashed. I thought this was a thing that solely happened when playing audio in the background but then i noticed that it is actually a general problem when firefox is kept open in the background. It doesnt happen after a set amount of time, sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes after like 10 minutes that it is kept in the background. How can i fix this? its very annoying.

So I got a new phone and I'm trying to sync it with the old Android but it's like it literally has nothing but the login name. I still have to go login all these websites and it won't boot all my tabs from the old phone I don't even want to try to buy anything find out that I have to do all the credit card stuff again. From the image below, I asked a question and the results are there. I've tried this on my tablet as well, getting the exact sane results, no matter what I put in the search results.

However, I choose Google as the search engine (as you can see from the image below), while Firefox still being the main browser and I got results to the question below.

What is happening with your browser or duckduckgo search engine? In all my years of using these platforms, I've never had this issue. Yes, I'm Android user and haven't changed any devices. My setup is the sane on all my devices.

I'm using Firefox browser on my Android phone and when I visit a website zoom.earth the animation whether it be a wind a precipitation lags a lot. On the same phone, if i use Chrome, the animation plays out smooth. Why?

I can't scroll to The bottom of browser's menu lately, meaning i can't get to setups. I could not long ago while still having the bug, as a bit of the setup button was "reachable", but it is nów replaced by that "turn into pdf" feature. The bug itself is also rather new, although i can't tell precisely when i first noticed IT to occur, as it is on my heavy duty work phone and i use browser irregularly on it.

So, i don't see "refresh" button (or can't Reach IT, don't remember wether it was at the bottom od somewhere else), setup button and anything bellow the print button. Well, bellow that "save as pdf" button precisely, although i can't really swe said button.

It's latest FF on Android 6

I started with Firefox on android, when i finally got a pc i decided to sync my data. This resulted in the loss of all but 1 of my passwords and Ive spent 5+hours trying to get them back. And i idk if i can. But with the help of this extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/about-sync/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search) about-sync i can see the logs of them being deleted(where pics are from). Why cant i just revert this or have instances to revert back to?

On my Android phone, the "close private tabs" notification keeps reappearing no matter how many times I tap it or swipe it away. Only way to get rid of it is by force stopping Firefox. Weird thing is that this issue doesn't repro 100% of the time either.

This is happening on Firefox 126.0, on my S23 Ultra running Android 14/One UI 6.1
