Firefox not function properly after recent update iPhone 12 mini
Since the most recent update, Firefox now does not close the private tabs on app closure as it should even though the button to say delete this is actually active.
Also, when listening to music through Soundcloud or Bandcamp or YouTube, even after the tab with the music is closed, the music continues to play. This has all started today and is highly frustrating. As is trying to find this feedback page! 45 minutes into trying to “get help” I finally found somewhere to write this problem out. (Though I doubt Mozilla are interested in fixing the issue, judging by the complete lack of customer support and their labyrinthine Help section which I have to say is NOT in any way helpful, just needlessly stressful).

I just wanted to report the bug to Mozilla so they can fire the guy who did a piss poor job of the updates and sort the issue out. Didn’t really want to be talking to the public via text to try to get answers they cannot offer due to it being an obvious coding issue on the company’s end.
Mozilla workers, if you are out there and in the unlikely even you read this, fix your app please!

Thank you for your question. Our developers have been looking into this and a new update is being made available very shortly that should correct this issue. Please look for an update to Firefox for iOS from the App Store.
Here it is 7/29/2023 and the issue is still not fixed. I too have the issue of audio still playing after the tab is closed. I saw where the issue first showed up in early versions and was fixed in version 13 but we are way passed that version. What did you do copy and and past the older version and not check it before releasing this version. Don’t get me started on your support for Firefox, it seems to be none existing, is there anyone actually in technical support that actually helps us users?
