until 2nite did not know ff had a os.Friend bought a used puter with ff os on it, is ff os like an addon? is windows still there and if so how do we get back to win os? they are not happy with ff os ! again how can they return to windows os?

Hi!
Firefox OS is an operating system for mobile devices, not desktop PCs.
You can run an instance of Firefox OS as a program on Windows, but you cannot run it in place of Windows, as far as I know.
Would you please post a screenshot of the problem so we try to identify the issue? If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem? You can also just use a digital camera to take the picture.
