When I open a new tab on Android as of a few weeks ago there are no suggestions, except to swap to a previous tab with a similar name to what's in the address bar. If I hit the search drop down to the left of the address bar or hit enter in the tab and retry typing suggestions appear. See attached images for reference.

To stop it, I have to disable password Autofill on entirely. I probably don't need to say this is a security issue. Every time I visit this site my password is being sent to their servers as a search query. I'm using Firefox Android. Please help

The new menu can't be disabled. This wouldn't be so bad but the 3 dots are still at the top. If the menu now opens at the bottom, you should be able to open it from the bottom as well. That's how other mobile browsers do it. Plus it's bad on tablets which are supposed to act like a desktop browser.
