I hit the "Clear Private Session" icon, confirm, but then I have to go to:

Open Settings >

Privacy and Security >

Browsing Data >

Clear Browsing Data >

"Everything" (every check box has to be checked) >

Clear.

I have Firefox in permanent Private Browsing only, and Privacy and Security Settings are set to Strict / Do Not Fix any site problems.

Why does Firefox retain browsing site data even after I exit out of Fiirefox completely unles I do all of the above?

Using Windows 11. Recently all of my bookmarks have stopped working. They appear labeled correctly, but with a "globe" like icon and no longer function. I'm logged in and hit sync, but nothing seems to restore them.

I've attached image showing my tool bar. This impacts all of my bookmarked sites.

As of Aug 23rd, Firefox no longer connects to the internet (not site-specific) with this message: Unable to Connect. All other browsers work with fast loads. FF has been incredibly slow loading pages for weeks now but it would eventually connect until today. It is not a network/firewall issue as I've checked to make sure all was set correctly. I have cleared cache, turned VPN off, refreshed app, uninstalled/reinstalled and nothing has changed.

If I find the same tomorrow, I will just have to stop using altogether and choose another default browser as there is no point in a browser that is slow and unreliable. It's a shame since I've been using FF for many, many years.

I click on the website page and scan through things then close that website. Then I get on the search engine page an icon of that website I just looked through added onto the search page as an icon. I do not want this. I know how to add websites I frequently visit so its not that. It must be a setting somewhere in my Firefox settings. How do I switch this off?

I am on version 155 of the browser, and the sidebar is not showing up for me. Clicking the sidebar toggle button also does nothing. I've tried going into settings and toggling the show sidebar option, but that also doesn't do anything, as if the sidebar feature doesn't exist. Toggling vertical tabs just makes the tab bar disappear, and I've tried both the options menu and right-clicking the side bar toggle button. Is there an error, or am I missing something?

After updating to the smart window(beta), the AI chatbot providers in sidebar cannot be found, if it is possible, please add it back, it is so useful. And the new features look pretty nice, cheers

when i click my shortcut button in task bar I get 2 tab trying to open. the first on the left is the FF search page and the second is my preferred home page WWW.MSN.COM. The same thing happens if i click the home button in the tool bar. i have tried deleting and reinstalling FF and get the same thing. this has only been happening for aprox 2-3 weeks

Также я скачал Firefox Developer Edition также вошел под тем же профилем, но хочу чтобы панель вкладок была своя, и не пересекалась с обычным Firefox. Можно ли так сделать? или нужно создавать вторую учетную запись для разработки в Firefox Developer Edition

the login never completes and there are messages at the bottom of the screen that it is waiting for various sites like ips.navigatorixa mail.com if I wait Firefox eventually times out with site not responding

Immediately after restart and subsequently starting Firefox 153.0.3 my Windows 11, 16GB system shows that Firefox has started 11 processes, five of which account for most of the 1.2GB of RAM used. Why does Firefox run so many processes, and how can I make it use less RAM?

would it be possible for me to save a whole window for a later date. this window has multiple groups and tabs. I'm looking for something like the recently closed window but it is there permanently for when i want to open up that window again?

When signed in Firefox puts popups on the right of the screen that refer to my incoming mail. I end up having to delete them all the time. How can I prevent these popups?

I have various sites that won't accept site login credentials but work on other browsers and Firefox is running very slow. If I completely shut down and restart my computer, the logins will work for a few minutes but then stop working again. I've completely uninstalled Firefox several times, deleted my profile and created a new profile. Ran Firefox in troubleshooting mode with extensions turned off. None of these have had any effect. I recently saw a post that this might be a Firefox issue with version 154.00. I'm currently running version 154.01. Is this actually a Firefox issue or do I need to continue to look further into my computer and router for the problem?
