Hi everyone

I've experienced a problem with Firefox on the Metacritic-Website. As you can see on the attached picture on the left, it's not possible to set a filter for "release date". There's no problem when I use Chrome (see picture on the right). The problem still persists when I start Firefox in safe-mode, so it's not related to an extension. I could replicate the problem on another system as well. Firefox on iOS has no problem setting the filter however. Do you know what the problem could be?

When I scroll through Facebook, often if there are two posts with photos, the browser seems to jump back and forth between the two images making it impossible to see or read either. My release is 123.0 and it was loaded when I needed to restore my system after a drive upgrade about 10 days ago.

I have enabled privacy.resistFingerprinting in Firefox. I have also set my default zoom level to 133%

When I open a website (e.g. https://github.com/), it is zoomed to 133% as expected. If I then navigate to a page on that website (e.g. https://github.com/pricing) using the menu at the top of the page, then the new page is still zoomed to 133%. So far, so good.

However, on the new page (https://github.com/pricing) if I increase the zoom over 133%, then navigate back to the original page (https://github.com/) using the menu at the top of the page, then my zoom level is reset to 100%.

Is this expected behaviour? I would have thought that the zoom level would be reset to 133%, not 100%.

After switching to Firefox from Chrome, after Chrome started acting wierd, especially when it came to youtube, I haven't been able to pay for Ubereats deliveries, all that happens is it stays on the checkout page. making me bring up my phone and pay that way as I can still use the basket I put together.

Tried to report it to Ubereats but whoever was on the other side of the chat, seemed to think the problem was with the phone app and closed the ticket without solving anything.

How someone here can help figure out why it's happing.

Hello, so I have been putting my custom links onto the 'top sites' start page in Firefox, by editing the icons and putting the URL, etc. It is a great 'speed dial' type feature I love. One thing has me tearing my hair out after trying all ways to try and fix this to appear to my liking, is the 'custom icon' from the website not showing in the sites I want to 'speed dial' Facebook and YT show up fine, but random sites I want on the page don't do this. I don't care why this is anymore, please don't give lengthily fixes. It's just silly you need a working URL with an icon at the end of it to display this properly. It did make me very mad, can you tell, even madder when I saw it done as it should be in OPERA browser, on their 'top sites', or 'speed dial' customizable home page they have the sensible option there to pick your own icon, you can put in a folder on your desktop if you like, no working URL needed! start a collection of what icons you want to see on your own start page. Can you please implement this 'common sense' modification as soon as possible, it will take only minutes of code writing i'm sure. I do not want to, but I will go to Opera as my main browser for this common sense functionality, good luck and thank you.

When I'm viewing a PDF from within Firefox and try to print the page, it shows a smaller version between 1/2-3/4 of the size of the paper. I have "fit to page selected" and this doesn't change it. I try a larger than 100% scale and this doesn't change it either.

However when I download the pdf and pull it up using Acrobat it allows me to print full page, fit to page, scale, etc no problem.

Initially I thought it was my printer, but I removed and reinstalled the drivers for the printer and I don't have this issue with any other program except for printing from Firefox. It's almost like the Firefox browser has too small of a page default set so that it's fitting to a page, but the page is smaller than 8.5x11 printer paper.

How do I fix this?

Hi, lately I have been having issues with updates. When Firefox browser in MacOS gets update, it ask me to sign in to all platforms again. This wasn't the case at all before.

In the browser settings I use a color preference that replaces white with black, this works with pages where Dark Reader is not available. These settings are needed so that when surfing the web at night with the dark mode on, my eyes don't hurt from contrasting bright white elements with dark-colored pages. For example, it works on single image pages - in situations where except for the image the rest of the page is colored solid white; It also works for some add-ons - on settings pages and pop-ups.

I'm interested in being able to automate toggling on/off the «Use system colors» checkbox, which is in the browser «Color» settings. It would be great to somehow synchronize the activation of night mode in Dark Reader with disabling checkbox responsible for using system colors. Or, for example, make it so that when the «Website appearance» setting is set to «Automatic», the checkbox is switched accordingly together with it - being disabled when the appearance is dark and enabled when it is light.

I have 2fa enabled on my account, is there a way to skip/disable the third step where I have to enter a code from an email? It's already redundant with 2fa. Plus, the runaround of "enter your email, enter your password, get email, enter the code, oops your password is wrong!" is irritating enough :) It just seems unnecessarily difficult.

Find out and correct the problem I typed in the question block : I am no longer able to download my email from the WOWWAY home page since I accepted our latest update. The only way I can get my email now is by using Microsoft Edge as my browser!!!!

Starting with the most recent update, 123.0, when I ctrl-click a link in Twitter or Blue Sky, the link opens in a new tab, but Firefox does NOT jump to the tab automatically. In any other site, the browser performs as expected. My options are set correctly, and all the relevant about:config settings are set to False. Using Windows 10, 22h2.

A friend opened a gmail account on my fire fox browser and saved her password on the saved folder. I mistakenly log her out this morning and we have been trying to recover her account but couldn't as she can't remember her password again.

We tried to check the saved password for the details but couldn't find the password again. Can you please assist?

In a recent Firefox browser update, my ability to reference my home router by name via the Windows HOSTS file stopped. I can ping the router by name from a CMD window just fine but keying the name into Firefox now fails. Images show the two forms of failure - a 500 Error when DNS over HTTPS is enabled; a 'having problems' error with suggestion of www..com alternative when DNS over HTTPS is disabled. Neither is the least bit helpful.

I can't imagine what changed and I can't find a prior support response that gives any clear ideas.

I don't know how you can help. I really really really hate hunting for things that were there in previous years. I do not like full screen lay over that mozilla has taken to doing, if it doesn't stop i will have to remove it. I want to see my tabs, I want mozilla to stop playing with my settings and logging me out when I am idle or on my phone. There are people with the same problem but its all techy talk and i don't understand and its playing with my time to constantly search or resign in. I don't need microsoft anything, hate it, don't use cloud, don't use chrome... so do we have an issue? one more thing... I absolutely hate with a passion of terminator any fucking ai garbage and bots. would sooner smash devices and take out a fire arm to shoot any robots. Hope that makes it clear. I have anxiety issues, so swearing is an issue, get used to it especially if artifical nonsence is involved. I try very hard not to swear at people. Ai is a different matter. I have norton antivirus.

Hello. I experience a problem that occurred 2 days ago. Firefox seems to ignore my preferences of opening previous windows and tabs, also it ignores pinned tabs. Some of websites disappear from the history (let's say i opened few windows to check if tabs will be saved by firefox, closed browser, opened it after few minutes: tabs are gone, history has only few of websites that were open. I tried to look for the problem by myself but failed. I will be grateful for your reply, thank you in advance.
