Firefox 100.0 Ubuntu 22.04 Mozilla VPN 2.8.0

As the title says, Multi-Account containers doesn't detect the VPN, which means that it's not setting the VPN for specific containers.

I suspect this is actually a problem with the "Allow extension to exchange messages with programs other than Firefox" permission. Could be a VPN issue, but gut feeling that it's a Firefox issue, TBH

Anyone else seeing this?

I don't want the tabs + search bar to show when the mouse reaches the top of the screen while in full-screen mode, I have tried "userChrome.css" solution provided in this link "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1092572", but it didn't work for me, I would appreciate any help, thank you.

I have never wanted, do not want, and will never want any website to push notifications to my desktop computer. I don't even really want any websites (or your browser) to push notifications to my phone.

Fuckin let me block them with a global settings policy instead of having to click the no button for every piece of shit website that thinks I care about them enough to get nagged in my free time

Several months back, for some unfathomable reason, you eliminated GoodSearch as one of the eligible default search engines users can select. Given its squeaky-clean reputation and charitable nature, I can't for the life of me understand WHY. And just how much begging and grovelling will it take to persuade you to restore it to the available options?? *P*L*E*A*S*E*!!!!!!!

Firefox only uses custom minimize/maximize buttons when I select show toolbar. When not selected, it seems to use the windows 10 window decoration. I am using arch linux with kde plasma and firefox 100. Is there any way for firefox to use the system wide minimize/maximize buttons

I can enter addresses manually but it does not save them automatically. I went through and enabled everything I could find but still only the one address I entered manually. Another option I tried to find is importing the addresses from chrome but I only found this option for logins and passwords.

I just downloaded the latest Firefox 100.0 on my 2020 iMac running MacOS 11.6.5. and watching youtube video that support HDR look horrible. Everything is washed out. Can you please allow us to disable HDR. I have to now watch youtube on Safari or Chrome.

This extension has attached itself to Mozzila/Firefox moz-extension://b8b74ec4-b566-444c-a67b-cc919887caaf/newtab/index.html, and it's making them act negatively. Slowing down just about everything, from slowing down my bootup to redirecting my web pages and giving me logging in issues. How can I correct this issue.

Hi, I'd like to disable that annoying animation when going to fullscreen (by hitting F11). Supposedly, setting the following should work:

Go to about:config

Set: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 full-screen-api.warning.delay 0 full-screen-api.warning.timeout 0

Restart

However, this does not have any effect in Firefox 94.0 on Ubuntu. Is this a bug/regression? Or is there some other way to disable the animation?

Hi! I have set this option pdfjs.externalLinkTarget to 2, but despite that setup, all PDFs are open in the same tab of the PDF download link, that's a problem for me because, for instance, my home banking account losses the session if anything external is loaded, so when I click Firefox back arrow, the home banking session expires.

How can I set to open PDFs in Firefox in new tab?

Lately, Firefox unchecks the 'use autoscrolling' and 'play DRM-controlled content' options sometimes (but not every time) when it starts. Other settings don't seem to be affected. It does seem to unset both at once, never one or the other at a time.

I have begun using Firefox routinely on two computers, both signed into the same sync profile. My best guess is that maybe one profile is overwriting the other? Both of these options are set on the second system, but maybe there's something going wrong with the sync?

if there's not already an option to autohide the bookmarks toolbar (like the address bar and tabs when in F11 mode [fullscreen])

can there be?

so like, on default the bookmark toolbar wouldn't show, but when I move my mouse into the specified area it appears (with the same animation as f11 mode)

Actually might be cool to have options to autohide the tab bar too (separately).

I would just like to keep my taskbar visible in fullscreen mode. Even when hovering over the mouse, the taskbar does not appear. I'm using windows 10 and the latest version of Firefox. Are there ways to achieve this? The old add-ons for this purpose are already gone

Is there any way to get yyyy-mm-dd dates, 24 hour clock and Monday as start of week (as my LC_TIME indicates with sv_SE.utf-8) while keeping English as my main language? Changing locale to Canadian at least gets the date format and language correct but it's still 12-hour clock and Sunday as first day of week...

whenever I try to use a theme that defaulted to dark mode in the previous update, it defaults to light mode instead. for some websites this means that it displays in bright white. i need dark mode. even when i set the toolbar colour (which previously controlled dark/light in Firefox Colour) to black it's on light mode. how do I get dark mode back, i hate this. this theme (picture attached) used to be dark mode but now it defaults to light. how do i get dark mode back.
