My firefox is upto date, even re downloaded it and refreshed it. I go to the add on's menu and chose any one, and every one when i download it says "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."

Hello! Hoping someone can help with this new (to me) issue. I've searched and can't seem to find any articles/threads.

When I open the wifi menu on my laptop, I also see a media player featuring a video I watched three days ago (image attached). I've used my computer several times since then and didn't notice it. It also doesn't appear to be functional, as when I click play, nothing happens.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get this to go away and to prevent it from coming back again?

I'm using FF, 104, with Monterey on a Mac Mini. When I tried to use Copy Short URL, I got a notice that it's use was "restricted by the browser" - see attached screenshot.

Why is this, and how can I remove the restriction? Thank you, Michael

I have always had the Print UI disabled by setting print.tab_modal.enabled to FALSE. Since the Version 97 update today, this is not working. The FALSE setting is still there under about:config but the Print UI dialogue now keeps coming up.

Up-to-date Firefox on Windows 10 laptop. Today, for the 2nd time in a week or so, the “mailto” function has disappeared; i.e., if I click a “Send email” link on a webpage, the Windows dialogue box to select a mail app pops up. When I check the applications setting, mailto doesn't appear in the list.

The first time this happened, I found online instructions to refresh Firefox and select Gmail as the mail client. I don’t mind doing it again, but I am concerned about the problem occurring so soon after the recent refresh.

I always use the current Firefox on two Macintosh browsers running OS 10.14.6.

Recently (in only one of the computers), if I download a file, a pane containing recent downloads opens in the upper left-hand quadrant. This is distinct from the downloads portion of the "Library" area, and gets in the way of my ability to use Firefox efficiently.

I can't seem to find a way to keep this pane from repeatedly opening up as I download things. Can anyone help?

I'm seeing an issue in the latest release of Firefox (103.0.2) & Firefox developer edition (104.0b10) when working with a manifest v2 web extension. The issue is not present in Firefox Developer edition (100.0b9) and below.

When calling browser.windows.create() - passing valid options for height & width is resulting in a completely invalid and unexpected size for the resulting window. The code to reproduce the behavior is below.

This is being run in a background script of the extension.

``` The console.log result is ``` In openWindow width 3072 height 1728 top 216 left 384 ``` These are valid numbers for the screen I am working on (standard 4k displays). I am running 3 screens, all hiDPI - two are default 4k external monitors, the third is the built in laptop display.

I have not yet tested the result on other operating systems - however I am running macOS Monteray v12.4.

When running in version 100.0b9 and below, I see a centered screen ~80% of the monitor width and height appear. When I run in the current versions, I see the window briefly flash at full screen, then immediately downsize to a very small window in the upper left corner.

I am running the exact same extension build in both versions.

This morning YOPmail showed up on my windows 10 foxfire as a pinned tab. It claims to be an extension (chrome). Nowhere does anyone say it is malicious...but I want it gone and nowhere is there instructions on how to remove it...I have contacted the dev. we'll see...

It is my business computer and I don't like software, apps, code, extensions or add-ons that i cant get rid of.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have my language settings to English, and English ONLY.

When I open multiple sites, or even try to log in and view my passwords ~ it constantly displays in Russian or some other language.

There is no helpful solution posted, and I have no idea to fix this. Again ~ only English is set in my personal settings.

Any advice?

I currently have this add-on installed. It allows you to you highlight certain text, then right click and open up a link to Wiktionary in another tab. Up until a few minutes ago, this menu item was at the very top of the list (i.e. above "undo" and all the rest), but now it's been moved down with all the other add-ons. Image for further clarity.

The add-on hasn't been updated in 6 years, so it's certainly not that. I don't recall doing anything to make it change, but before this, it had been at the top of the menu ever since I added it maybe 2 years ago. Is there any potential way to restore this functionality? The fact that it appeared at the very top of the menu might have been a bug, but if that's the case, it was certainly a convenient one.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing from you fine folks in this community.

When you're waiting for the website to respond, there is a very small black blob that moves backwards and forwards from left to right in the firefox browser Tab of the window you are using. It is too small especially if there are a dozen Tabs, or more.. Is there any way/Add-On to make this larger/more obvious please?

i have had this persistent issue: when a site seems broken, i used to be able to try turning off Enhanced Tracking Protection, by

   Clicking on the shield Icon to the left of the address bar, then
   Toggling the switch at the top of the panel.

But for the past week or two, the toggle button stays on and i canno toggle it off.

Also, a related issue, ie.the reason ive mos recently tried to do this, is so i can view the whole yelp review web pages. I used to be able to, but fo the pas few weeks a large portion of these pages hav blanks instead of reviews. I cannot even view the review i myself posted a week ago!

For example, this yelp business page link text

if you scroll down to beneath of where it says:

there should be text and photos of companies' reviews and info. But instead, all i ever see are grayed out empty boxes.

I have tried:

disabling all my add-ons, 

private browing mode,

restarting firefox, 

turning of all tracking protection from the main firefox preferences pane, rebooting my computer, and clearing all history for everything. I have also googled this up the yinyang but no one else seems to be having similar issues.

Any ideas? if you could please help with this issue i'd be very grateful!

"Open previous windows and tabs" is checked but it's not working. I had to go to history and opened it. It's happening for the last several weeks.

After upgrading Firefox from 102 to 103, LastPass Federated Login extension hangs (blank white screen) after Okta login completes. Firefox 102, works fine. Unfortunately, I cannot stop the automatic upgrade for Firefox. LastPass is critical to my work and I've uninstalled it as a result. I've contributed to both Firefox and Thunderbird as I believe they are the best at what they do.

Please let me know when this will be fixed, or how to disable automatic upgrades.
