Hello,

I've recently encountered a curious issue with my Firefox browser (Firefox version 102.0, Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.25145.1011). At seemingly random times it will freeze for between two and five minutes (roughly). UI elements become completely unresponsive and the cursor does not update when moving over the browser window. The window will not minimize. Yet, Windows Task Manager does not report the application as being unresponsive. While never a common problem, any freezes in the past would eventually cause the Windows Task Manager to identify it as unresponsive.

I have disabled "recommended performance settings" and hardware acceleration to no avail. Everything seems perfectly normal immediately before and after the freezes, and I've yet to identify how I can trigger them. I do not recall having made any changes to my browser before the freezes started occurring, though multiple Windows updates have taken place since then. If I'm too impatient to wait I will end the Firefox processes via Windows Task Manager and restart it so I can return to my tabs without having cookies deleted. I have 13 plugins mainly covering privacy/security concerns. Is there some sort of debug tool I can engage to see what's occupying Firefox while it's frozen? I've just found the Firefox Task Manager, and will see if it can offer any additional information during/after the freezes.

Opening firefox or a new tab is huge. goingto sites kike CNN or Amazon also are too large to use easily. Al,ost like Zoomimg to 400 percent but I am at 100 percent

cannot install fire fox I have used it for years as my main browser can you please help me get it back? This is a brand new computer. I should not be having any issues with Firefox

Hello! Hoping someone can help with this new (to me) issue. I've searched and can't seem to find any articles/threads.

When I open the wifi menu on my laptop, I also see a media player featuring a video I watched three days ago (image attached). I've used my computer several times since then and didn't notice it. It also doesn't appear to be functional, as when I click play, nothing happens.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get this to go away and to prevent it from coming back again?

I'm running version 102 of Firefox on Windows 11 Home version 21H2 OS build 22000.739 and can no longer log into my investment account at ally.com. Right after I key in my username and password, I get the following error. I can use Microsoft Edge and Brave browsers to successfully log in to my account but I only use Firefox.

The last time I successfully signed into my Ally Invest account using Firefox was probably a few weeks ago but I'm not sure of the date. I have attached a picture of the error I receive from Ally.

Example: If I start typing in the address bar and type the letter a... amazon.com comes up since I frequent there a lot. But, if I start typing the name of my bank nothing comes up in the address bar. I always have to type it out.

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

Firefox on Windows 11 now runs at 100% and a stack of ram. Obviously this slows down my PC and this is only on the home page with nothing to look at. This makes it unuseable. Tried help pages - no use at all. Why am I asking an unknown instead of Mozilla? To big for their boots?

On opening many websites I think they've created a new trick - dropping to the bottom of the page so you have to scoll through all pages to get to the top - is there a way of preventing this?

I am looking for a toolbar addon that allows shortcuts to local applications. Example, shortcuts to notepad, word, calc etc... on a toolbar (like the firefox [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[B]-toolbar)

There are launchers and such to launch applications, but I just want a dedicated toolbar for this where I can place shortcuts to firefox tools/utilities on there.

10+ years ago there was an addon for firefox that was a simple toolbar which could handle url's, local applications...anything as long as it could be created as a shortcut on the desktop. But I can't find it anymore it probably got dis-continued.

Any suggestion is very welcome.

Seems like there's a bug in the new update. I can't see all the downloads, no matter how I try to open the list of downloads, the browser immediately crashes. I tried reinstalling (started a new profile, etc), the issue still persists.

"Open previous windows and tabs" is checked but it's not working. I had to go to history and opened it. It's happening for the last several weeks.
