Before update when I clicked in PDF viewer toolbar download button it opened a screen to open with, right now it only download a file. I want it back. I have firefox as pdf viewer, but sometimes I need to open file with Acrobat DC, that's when I did click download button. It works on other computer like before, it is before firefox update.

I have been a "light theme" user for 15+ years. Since updating to 96.0 today, a dark mode spreading across Firefox has been forced onto me, including:

• New tab background
• Background of any tab waiting to load a page
• Google/Youtube background
• Settings/add-ons/password menu backgrounds
• Automatic username/password drop-down background
• Background of the little box that appears on the bottom-left (the one which shows the URL when you mouse over a link)

I am unhappy with this and wish to have my usual theme back. Can anyone please assist?

(In addition, there is some sort of white border around the current tab, which I do not like)

I am currently using Firefox v. 100.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Home v. 21H2. Recently, I have been unable to get package tracking information from the website fedex.com, nor can I log into my FedEx account. When trying to track a package, the FedEx site displays the following message: "Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve your tracking results at this time. Please try again later." Likewise, when trying to log in, the site shows this message: "We are having trouble establishing a connection. Please refresh the page." Repeated attempts in both cases have failed. In the past, the fedex.com site has functioned flawlessly with Firefox. Moreover, I do not experience either of these problems with Google Chrome.

Please advise.

If Firefox is open and running, then the firefox icon is an orange fox. I Firefox is closed and not running, then firefox icon is a square white paper (generic icon). This problem did not exist in all previous editions of firefox, only in firefox 100. Help.

Not sure the design team can do anything about this, but...

I just got a full page pop up with a link to "Update to the Latest Version of Firefox," which I did not click because I was suspicious. 1) Normally the notice to update is a small rectangle in the right upper corner. 2) I had just updated yesterday.

Firefox reports that it is up to date,

My security is set to "Block pop-up windows."

When I clicked the link again to test it, only the requested article opened.

The pop-up had the Firefox logo and appeared legitimate to me in every way.

Sorry, I did not think to copy the update link before I closed the pop-up.

I can only save (not open) Gmail attachments after the latest update and JPG is not showing up in my the Applications section of Settings/General so I cannot fix it.

This has happened one time too many guys, every update but this time half the items I would normally get as an attachment are no longer listed in the applications menu.

If I cannot get a fix quickly I will be forced to move to Chrome (which I REALLY hate the idea of). I see 25 - 80 emails a day and it is mission critical that I can open and view email attachments without having to save them.

Auto-fill works fine for all other sites logins. Google uses similar 2 step login layout, when I click in the username box a list of usernames for google site drops down. This does not happen with Airbnb.

The problem occurs in multiple profiles including a new profile set up to test, all history and cookies cleared. First the browser offers to save the login with username empty. (Manually filled in username then saved.) Then logged out, login page username is empty. Does not autofill even when I start typing the saved username.

What is causing this? Is it happening on the main .com site or just the .co.nz site?. ( I am unable to test the .com site because I am in New Zealand, airbnb.com site redirects automatically to airbnb.co.nz url above) How can I fix it please?

I have had it with Firefox playing cop. I really have. I have a site that I visit frequently but these past two updates have now broken my ability to sign into the site at all, even in private mode. All I get is the shield and human icons with the strike-through and the error message on the user name/password field that says: This Connection Is Not Secure. Logins Entered Here Could Be Compromised. Learn More.

I've hit the escape button, tried private windows, done everything I can including resetting which was my last resort and which I hate doing, there's no more whitelist, no way to bypass anything, this is totally unacceptable that I cannot get past this. Firefox is becoming more useless to me as they try to become more and more in control of what I can and cannot do. If there is no override to this, then I have to find a different browser because it's pretty useless to use one browser for some sites and another for other sites, don't you think? So if someone has a workaround for this problem, can you please tell me what it is?

just updated to version 100, and now my work is stalled because I can't play online training videos (that it's my job to create, so need to publish and preview them online). The audio plays, but the video does not. Interestingly, when I navigate away from the tab, the visual still refreshes to the progress point in the video, but still does not PLAY the video.

Is there a way to downgrade to the previous Firefox version?

Downloaded the latest version of FireFox, and have somehow lost the toolbar for my bookmarks. Have tried suggested things mentioned that i can find to no success. How do i get this much neede item back, HELP please?

My google drive keeps disconnecting, and google drive/google docs links are not working. I have attached a screenshot of the new tab page when I copy paste a google sheets document URL into the search bar and hit enter. After the reloading icon animates, I stay on the new tab page and the url just sits there. The debug console shows 1 GET request that is timed out (picture also attached).

I can fix the issue by completely closing all firefox windows and opening again, but it will disconnect me after some minutes.

Intermittently unable to open a new window/tab, the little dot just keeps flashing back and forth. If I get out of firefox and re load it is back to normal for a short period then goes back to the problem.

Firefox has seemed unstable for a few months now, but in the past weeks even more so. It crashes often, and has usually crashed when I come back to my desktop after a few hours or the weekend. Today it has crashed on me at least 10 times. It does not seem to relate to a particular website or activity. It is becoming so difficult to work with that I am going to have to go to Chrome or something else if it's not fixed. Firefox pretty regularly does updates (often after it has crashed), so it is not that I've got an old version or something.
