I use Japanese script which works at first when I start my computer, but after a while the options for Japanese alphabet on the language bar(hiragana, kanji, katakana etc.) disappear (although the umbrella language JP is shown and can be switched to) and the short key alt+~ that usually switches the Japanese character mode on/off stops working, so can only type in roman characters and not Japanese. I can still type in Japanese characters in other programmes, so this seems to be a Firefox problem. When I reboot it works for a while but then the problem reappears. What can be done?
