Hello,

I am facing a problem where Firefox does not remember my previous browsing session which includes Open Tabs, Logged in websites. This problem appeared all of a sudden when I didn't make any recent changes to firefox settings.

I checked the obvious solutions from the thread : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1084632, but they did not resolve the problem. Also I find the session information (Open tabs) stored in the restore files, but they are not restored when firefox is stopped and re-opened.

Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

Thanks !

You may have corrupt sessionstore file(s).

Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.

Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Locate the sessionstore file(s). Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.
