When generating a password on a site which requires symbols to be used, Lockwise does not generate a password that uses symbols. The "Suggest and generate strong passwords" option is checked on the options panel. Yet after several attempts the generator does not automatically inject symbols into the password. It is suggested and well known that strong passwords contain symbols. Therefore one would assume that your generator would generate passwords containing them. This is apparently not the case. I need Lockwise to generate stronger passwords that include symbols. Is this something that can be fixed in Lockwise? Or, is this something where I will need to put these in myself, or correct manually? If the latter is the case, I will just use a better master password manager/generator, which would be more inconvenient. I would rather stick with Lockwise! Please advise.

Somebody created an enhancement bug report:

  • Bug 1570215 - Add more character classes to password generator

This does not help me at all... That bug is about KeePass Generator, not the password generator in Lockwise. Unless of course Lockwise is using KeePass on the back-end. If that is the case, then I don't have time for all this crap. just make it work seamlessly to us the users and do it quick. Or I'll go find a better product. It's that simple.

The bug is about the Firefox password generator The KeePass Generator is only mentioned as an example of how it can be done better as it offers a lot of choices where Firefox currently only support a-z,A-Z,0-9 and not more complex passwords.

This is a big weakness in Lockwise in my opinion. I hope you can prioritize a correction.
