When a new bookmark is created it goes to the end of the bookmark listing in the left panel. How can I force Firefox to automatically put each newly created bookmark in the correct alphabetic position in the left panel Bookmarks panel? I DO NOT want to alphabetize the entire panel, I just want each newly created bookmark to go where is alphabetically belongs. I do not use folders so have one long list for bookmarks menu. thank Bob

I literally downloaded many versions of firefox (esr ones,normal ones) with exe and msi installers. But everyone one of then never works,sometimes it doesn't even install or sometimes it installs but gives error , sometimes it says we're sorry , sometimes it installs but doesn't open nor does it gave any error window. I recently installed firefox on a new computer and it will not access the internet. Any access request gets the message "Hmmm. We're having trouble finding that site." We cannot connect to the server.... It says to check that fiefox has permission to access the web, but I do not know how to do that. How can I get Firefox to access the web? I do not want to have to use different browser, but will switch unless this is resolved.

I am unable to login to any website using the "Sign in with Apple ID" option when offered. The login window opens normally, the username and password fields render properly, but then as soon as I hit enter or click login. The confirmation/page with the two buttons one grey one blue that says "continue" appears for a split second and then vanishes. I have turned of all forms of content blocking and the issue still persists.

It worked totally fine yesterday, but today I cannot access ANYTHING in Hotmail. With privacy.resistFingerprinting set to FALSE, my resolution is reported : 1920x1080x24, set to TRUE its 1920x968x24
1 in 6 browsers has resolution 1920x1080x24 1 in 6000 browsers has resolution 1920x968x24
Who in Firefox decided this config rule? and what is the logic behind it? Looks like intentional sabotage to make peoples browsers more trackable.
Whilst leaving resistFingerprinting set to TRUE, How can I force my resolution to the more generic 1920x1080x24?
Is there another setting in about:config I can change? if there isnt, where can I request this feature? Id rather not resort to an extention for something so small like this.

Trying to sync my logins/passwords from my laptop to my desktop. It just doesnt work.
I have reset primary password, logged into both devices, selected sync on both devices. But it does not sync to desktop. Both machines come up in the Connected Services setion of my mozilla account.
When i try to manually enter logins & password on desktop list - it keeps asking me to enter my primary password (despite already being logged into firefox).
This is very frustrating so any help is greatly appreciated.

My website (onefishfoundation.org) will not load on Firefox. Instead, I get the "Secure Connection Failed" message with the above statement. This just started happening today. My website loads fine It loads with every other browser.
I've tested my certificates on SSLShopper and WhyNoPadlock and there were no issues on either. I've cleared the cache and history on my browser.
I've closed and re-opened the browser.
How do I fix this?

I have used Firefox with sync since sync were released. Today (25th dec), all of a sudden hundreds of saved passwords are gone, just 9 out of at least 200.
I have changed the password for my account and logged in. Tried to logout and login again but just 9 passwords is found, extremely frustrating!
Anyone got a clue what has happened?

While on MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) Firefox desktop updates transitioned to an ESR channel. This was expected and worked just fine. I recently updated the MacOS to 12.7 (Monterey) but Firefox desktop updates are still on the ESR channel.
When I go to Firefox -> About Firefox it says the desktop browser is up to date and that it's on the Extended Support Release. This ESR is only good until September 2024. I don't think it's supposed to be on the ESR channel since the OS is now 12.7, rather, it should just be on a "regular" update channel. Is that correct?
If no, will updates for MacOS Monterey cease in September 2024 too? If yes, how do I get back to the regular updates?
