Firefox will not open any webpages, but other browsers work. How can I fix it?

Firefox will not load any web pages. I recently ran a registry cleaner/virus scan on my computer and now Firefox 5 will not load anywebpages. It displays a "Problems Loading Page" error message. Other browsers still work. I tried uninstalling and re-installing firefox, even restoring to a previous restore point, but nothing seems to work. How can I fix this?
