I'm not sure what the feature is technically called. I have Google as the start page and use that to search. In older versions of Firefox, after entering a search phrase in the main Google search bar, the phrase was shown next to a little Google icon. It was usually below the bar showing the URL I happened to click on. I could then open a new tab and click on the little Google icon and get more search results in that new tab. I could then compare web pages on different tabs. Maybe I have set the tabs function up differently? In any case, I hope there is a way to use the same search phrase in different tabs. Thanks.
