Custom Install of Firefox

I usually download and install manually the custom install of Firefox on Windows. Recently, a new version was automatically installed without my permission and destroyed… (gụkwuo)

I usually download and install manually the custom install of Firefox on Windows.

Recently, a new version was automatically installed without my permission and destroyed all my customization. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I had to restore the older version from backup and I was going to stop updating.

But I see that the manual custom installation is still available for download.

I want to make sure that if I use it it will not wipe out my customization again.

Please confirm.

Hello, I have problem with firefox. When I try download from facebook page files .docx, .xlsx (Microsoft Office) Firefox automatically download it as PDF and file is broken. I don't know how to repair this. Please help, it is very frustrating.

Cannot download anything any addon refuse to install.

When I follow the instructions to sync my passwords on the Firefox app on my phone, it keeps rejecting my primary password, saying it is incorrect. I have deleted the app and re-installed it on my phone, but it still does not work. Why will my account not open on my iphone app? Thank you!

trying to import login information from Firefox to Norton Password Manager. the Norton process works but no logins are displayed to import to NPM. There is a quick error screen when running Norton's import_password.exe - I would call a DOS window ERROR:root:extract_all_logins: Error for ALL: no profiles found 

 Can you help?

Migrate complete user profiles from snap to apt install

I need to migrate the complete profile (all settings, bookmarks, passwords etc) from a snap install to an apt install on the same system. Currently I have both versions installed, but i want to remove the abomination that is snap..

I tried copying ~/snap/firefox/common/.mozilla/firefox files to ~/.mozilla/firefox but that doesnt seem to work. Since this is a multi-user system i dont want to rely on mozilla accounts to sync everything to the cloud.

What do i need to do in order to migrate all the data from one install to another?
