I asked a question the other day about how to find my bookmarks but can't find it. Also can't find how to get on to the Home page - it always opens up on the Support page. So far I can't find anything I can deal with on this app on my iPad and I'm thinking of uninstalling it. Extremely difficult to deal with.

On Firefox for iOS, you can access your bookmark list from the browser's home screen. If you want to open a bookmarked site in...

  • The same tab: tap the address bar, and Firefox will display the home screen. Then tap the star icon on the row below the address box to show your bookmarks.
  • A new tab: tap the tabs icon on the upper right, then the plus button. Firefox should open the new tab showing the home screen. Then tap the star icon on the row below the address bar to show your bookmarks.

Thank you so much for replying. The only "Home Screen" I can find has 6 boxes on it and is headed up Mozilla Support. The Boxes are Firefox, Firefox for Android, Firefox for IOS, Firefox OS, Webmaker and Thunderbird. Above the boxes are small headers - Ask a Question, Contributor Tools, Golfinggrannie, Inbox and English. I tried to send you a screenshot of this page but it won't load because it is too big and there doesn't seem to be any way of shrinking the size of photos on an iPad. I've been hunting about for two days and I'm totally fed up with the whole thing. I've used Firefox for well over 10 years on laptops and pcs and I've always like it but this is leaving me in a state of utter frustration. It took me over ten minutes to find this page just now after receiving a notification by email. I've been using computers for over thirty years. Surely I can't be that thick?

Well, that definitely sounds like the home page of this support site. But if you tap the address bar, you should get a row of icons below the address bar/search box with more navigation options including bookmarks and search engines. On both iOS and Android, tapping the address bar, or creating a new tab, should display that set of choices.

That's great! It actually worked! All I need now is a Google page! But I expect I'll be able to suss the rest of it out. I wonder why on earth the Support pages don't mention anything about retrieving bookmarks, how to find the home page etc. Or maybe I just missed it somehow. Thanks for your help
