can we update to newer os versions?
I am using zen ultrafone u105. Need to know if an update of OS is possible even if zen has no official release. I use android also and have been porting releases for one or the other phone even if there is no official release. So wanted to know if same can be done for firefox.

Its a Zen Ultrafone Fire u105, the device.Its a firefox consumer phone out in India. The phone came pre-installed with F OS VERSION B2G 1.3.0.0- pre-release.

I don't know this device, but I guess it's different from the ZTE Open. So no, you can't use the same rom...You need to find the rom for your device specificaly. Or try to compile it yourself...
You can try to contact Mex Mod on Facebook and ask them if they work on rom for Zen Phone. Anyway the biggest problem with Firefox OS is that operaters block updates for some their own stupid reasons, while it's so simple to update it with phone.
