From a web page I am viewing in Firefox, I try to view a Quicktime video. The video becomes out os sync or will appear to be stuck for a few seconds (gives a nasty repeated noise) and then starts up again, but out of sync. It begins to get worse if you do nothing. However, if you move the progress bar - even a little- it will straighten out. This does not happen on the same page with the same videos in IE. Any ideas?

Hello Lori.

First of all, make sure your add-ons (extensions and plugins) are all up to date. You can manage them by going into Tools > Add-ons. If they are and you still have those issues, you may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check, and except the one plugin you need - quicktime, I think?), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

If this doesn't help, you will need to contact the plugin's author for support, since quicktime is not developed by Mozilla.
