I have about 99 entries saved at the present time in the Firefox Passwords Manager.

I would love to store these in different folders if possible--bill pay, medical, social networking, for instance.

Is such as feature available?

Thanks.

A related question.

I thought of getting a free password manager such as proton and move most of the password entries into it, leaving the most important ones under the Firefox Passwords Manager.

Proton asks for permission to access all my websites. I understand that this may be necessary in order to save passwords. However, this makes me nervous. If I give this permission, will they be able to access my financial data when I access my brokerage? Will ad blockers be able to access my financial data?

Thanks.

You can make feature requests at connect.mozilla.org.

The "Access your data for all websites" permission does what it is says but extensions can only do what their code instructs which is reviewed for suspicious activity. Those with the "Recommended" tag undergo the most scrutiny and open source licenses let anyone review the code themselves.
