I can log-in to my library account using MS Internet explorer, but not firefox. why? url=https://webcat.lib.unc.edu/patroninfo/

to login to my library account, I am asked to populate fields for my username and password.

when i populate these fields in the internet explorer browser and submit them, I am able to log-in to my account with no problem.

when i populate these fields with firefox and submit them; however, i do not get an error message; instead, i am returned to the original login page with the fields i had just populated all blank.

how can i overcome this problem?
