Basically when I receive a call, there is a "1" added to the phone number calling me and this is annoying. I had the ZTE Open and now have the ZTE Open C and is still the same. I am based in the U.S. in Arlington, Virginia. I imported my contacts from Google and they don't have a "1" in them and then every time I receive a call this happens. Is there any code I can do to get rid of this, I ask or what can I do. For example, this is Karina 7035553333 and when she calls me is 17035553333.

2333, please start a new question for your issue at /questions/new.

derybero, thanks for reporting this. I think we are aware of this issue however I haven't heard much about this. Hopefully a staff member coming across here can give a more clear answer.

Thanks.

One of the reasons this is annoying, is because it tricks the system into thinking that the person calling me is not under my contacts list.

I would patiently wait until the next release comes up. So far to remedy this, I've been collecting the phone numbers starting with "1" to their corresponding contact until this is resolved. It seems like it wants me to store the numbers with a "1" in there, using the ten digit rule even though we use the nine digit rule here in the States.

Well, thank you for your effort and glad to help with my voice.

I definitely hear you. I'm here in Canada and I have added 1s to the start of my contacts as well so I know who texted/called.

Hi Derybero,

I also experienced this issue on the ZTE Open C. I opened a bug over the weekend to track this issue:

Thanks for reporting this issue, and thanks for supporting the Firefox OS project!
