I set firefox as my homepage. Google loads instead and the address bar shows about:home. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the Google search as my homepage. I have the the homepage correctly in IE. Please advise.

I download Firefox, click the shortcut to open your browser, & the page that shows is the Google search page with the Firefox logo. The address shows as about:home. I have searched it on Bing and others are complaining of the same problem. Is that really the Firefox homepage?
