Why my Virtual scrolling with a touch pad won't work with Firefox?
I have a Synaptics Touch Pad Version 5.9 on a PS/2 port on my Acer laptop. I have checked the appropriate virtual scrolling boxes pertaining to features on the Synaptics software/driver application, and have activated/deactivated the various "scrolling" options in the Firefox Options, but the Synaptics Virtual Scrolling feature is not working with multiple versions of Firefox (3.6.17 or 4.0/4.0.1). Has anyone had success getting the virtual scrolling feature to work with any version of Firefox? By the way, the Synaptics Touch Pad scrolling feature works fine with other software programs, including Word and Internet Explorer. What's happening that Firefox won't allow this feature of convenience to work?
