I have been using Firefox for ages and never had a problem - love it - but now I see the remark: Firefox has ended support for Windows 8 and Vista on my screen at the right top corner. It also will no longer update my computer.

I do have and use Windows 10 - so I don't see what is the problem? I tried to refresh and that didn't work either.

Please help because I like to stay with Firefox but I do need to update and keep my computer secure.

I am not very computer savy so please tell me what to do in simple word.

I have trouble downloading the newest version because it says that Firefox has ended support for Windows 8 and Vista.

But I DO NOT USE THESE OLD VERSIONS - I DO USE WINDOWS 10 on this computer.

Could you please let me know how to fix this in plain english so I can easily do it myself - I am no computer wizzard.

Dear Mozilla Team, I hope you're doing well. I have a question because I am not sure about things how works when someone changes a device. 3 days ago I changed my Mac device to a new one and however I logged in with my profile my Mozilla Firefox looks completely different and I would like to know which version I used let's say a week ago and what is the version now, is there a way to figure out this? Honestly, I don't like this version and I would like to get back the old one or the old customization. Can you check this for me please? Thank you, Richard.

Since the latest Firefox update a few days ago, I am not able to log into my Outlook/Webmail account; nothing happens.

I can access it on google chrome but not on Firefox.

I have recently had to reload my laptop. Before I did so I synced all my passwords, bookmarks, history etc. When I have reloaded Firefox onto my device all my data is missing. Please can you help as I need all my passwords and bookmarks for work.

Since support is being discontinued for W7 Firefox, would someone please recommend the best version of Firefox for Windows 7? Security is not a concern, since I have reliable 3rd-Party security setup(s) for my Windows 7 systems.

When I went to open the vpn file, I got a message saying that it may contain malicious code that may harm my pc? Therefore Ive purchased the monthly payment but as of yet been unwilling to open the file. Also I got vpn in order to watch peacock T.V. as well as NBC and MSNBC Ive no idea how to access these programs in the U.S. as Im in Canada?

I currently have a Windows 7 PC with Firefox version 112.0.2 and normally use the EXE files from Mozilla's FTP site (ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases) to upgrade Firefox.

With Mozilla's decision to move Windows 7 users on to the ESR branch of Firefox I was looking for the best way to install the ESR version using EXE/MSI files. In this regard I have the following questions:

1) Is it best to first install the standard Firefox 115.0.3 EXE (last standard Firefox for Windows 7 users) and then the 115.1.0 EXE (first Windows 7 ESR Firefox)?

2) Would doing the above method cause any conflictions?

3) I read a while ago that the ESR version is a separate install that can run in parallel to the standard version, if this is true would it be ok to uninstall the standard version after the ESR install to not leave vulnerable versions on the system?

4) As the latest ESR version is 115.5.0, if the above method is ok. After installing the standard 115.0.3 should I still install 115.1.0 ESR or move straight to 115.5.0 ESR?

5) When moved onto the ESR branch can you jump versions or do the updates have to be installed in order?

I found Agent_10_9_9 on my C:\ drive. I don't know what this is. I don't remember ever installing it. Evidently, it was installed Dec 2019 or Jan 15,2020. Thank you! Margaret mbbristol57@yahoo.com

Unable to install Firefox on WIN11. Wants to create a profile but get "An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved. (This is a new Desktop unit I received today and have not had any problems with WIN10.

52.9.0esr is claimed to be the last version for XP. Unfortunately it is not quite true. It is for XP SP2 ONLY. Trying to install on SP3 ends with the message that SP2 is required. IMO the installer is simply too strict on demanding exact version of SP ! https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/52.9.0/system-requirements/

I went through the list of versions (thanks Mozilla that they all are still available!) and found that the last version I can install is... version... 12.0b6. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/12.0/system-requirements/

And indeed I installed 12.0b6 successfully but I would like to install 52.9.

Firstly, I have looked around on here for a bit and have not found anything.

I uninstalled Firefox because it was needing to update for a very long time, giving me a pop up every time I would open the browser, but if I clicked on the update button, it would just take me to a page on Mozzila that showed nothing regarding updates - if you scrolled down you'd get a normal download button for the entire browser which I already had. On settings, it would tell me my browser is up to date. Websites would give me pop ups saying I need to update my browser.

So I uninstalled it. And now I can't reinstall it.

I have Windows 10. On the Microsoft store, I have Firefox, but the "install" button does nothing. This is typical for the Microsoft store for me. On the Mozilla website, I can't get past the initial download page, I click download and it takes me to an error that says "this site cannot be reached" (so, please, do not link me to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release or https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ both take me to the same error page). I have already turned off Windows Defender, and turned off my ad block.

All of the info I have found assumes I already have the installation files, but I cannot access those because of getting the error I described above. No idea where to go from here.
